CLOSE DOWN THIS LOCATION. A little over a month ago, it was closed. I went last week, it was closed. No visible signage. Arrived today and a voice from the intercom stated "we are OUT of doughnuts." This location is highly undermanaged and in need of new management or ownership if this is a franchise. For this to be the only location in Durham and one of a few in an hour radius, I rather for it to be CLOSED than to continue to operate in this manner.

Store is set to open at 6am - arrived at 6:50am and had no original glazed available. I was told by employee it would be 30 minutes to an hour wait but closer to an hour. Sent someone else by the location an hour later at 7:45am and was then told it would be another hour before any original glazed were available. Not sure how Krispy Kreme THE big name in doughnuts does not have any donuts almost 2 hours after opening on a week day. Disappointed

If I could give ZERO stars I definitely would. So I ordered on 3/5/25 doughnuts for a breakfast party for a nurse that was leaving Duke Hospital. My card was charged on 3/5 with the pick up date of 3/6. I arrived to pick up at 7am on 3/6. The whole store was completely closed. No one in sight. I waited for an hour to see if anyone was coming. Nope never showed. Needless to say never got my doughnuts but they definitely got their money. Had to show up to work empty handed. I called and even by at least 3 times during the day. But they was still closed. Stop by the following morning to get my refund. Wasn't greeted when I walked in. I asked to speak with the manager and the lady rolled her eyes and walked away. The manager came and I asked what happened. He nonchalantly said they had to close because him or the other manger couldn't make it in. I asked why they still take order for pick up on that date if the knew they would be closed. He nonchalantly said corporate was in charge of that and he not sure why they didn't close the pickup option for that day....needless to say this was very unprofessional and unappreciative of people's time and money. This is the 2nd time this location has messed up a catering order for me. I HIGHLY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS LOCATION. ESPECIALLY NOT FOR PICK UP,THEY WILL CHARGE BUT YOU MIGHT NOT GET YOUR FOOD.

Store in Durham on Hillsborough Road is chronically understaffed; never has product available and is a poorly maintain property. They never have any of the new items available for purchase when I have been there and this is not a new problem. Parking lot lights out for months. Menu board in drive through has been in need of repair for years. I give a high rating on the food if it was available for purchase. They can do better!
I frequently visit this location, when at Duke. Wife and I usually buy a dozen or more doughnuts. How in the world can KK on Hillsborough , at 5pm, yesterday, be out of all cream filled doughnuts? This maybe trivial about no filled doughnuts, what’s next KK? This appears to be a poor planning and management situation, which can lead to failure especially during this precarious economic period.

Lobby was closed due to lack of staff. Donuts were cold, they forgot to fill the creme filled and the chocolate frosting had specks of.... something in it.
Krispy Kreme is good, but this store is not. Staff were friendly. Doesn't seem like anyone is managing this location.

The last time I went there, they was out of donuts and the donuts weren’t hot at all. Please fix this issue before this place gets shut down. Krispy Kreme is one of my favorites. I will not be happy if I have to drive all the way to person st in Raleigh for some donuts. Please get new staff and stay open. Praying that this place don’t close for good. Please and thank you.

Probably the worst Krispy Kreme I’ve been to. We went inside and they were out of all of the specialty donuts. I got 2 jelly filled donuts and my friend got jelly filled and each of them were missing the jelly… basically just got glazed donuts. The person who took our order seemed annoyed and unfriendly.
