12/13/2025 At 6:45 pm, my wife and I stopped by to pick up some doughnuts and my wife ordered ——everything that she ordered they were out of, but we finally got a dozen of assorted and my wife ordered the dozen of glazed that they were advertising for 9.95. We pulled on up to the window and the man told us it would be 38 dollars and some change and we asked why and he told us we had to mention the 9.95 glazed dozen to get it for the 9.95 price. Well, she did mention it when she ordered it! The man at the window was rude. We complained and he just looked away and did not respond.

Always sold out of the main menu items. Never good attitude when asking how long before new donuts are made. Despite coming before 10a or after 1p there is always significant amount of items unavailable. Probably the worst version of this place I have been to.

Drive thru is a mess. Had me wait for a while and gave me only half my order. The drive thru operator at night on 12/6/25 was very rude - told me to raise a refund request on the app and “figure it out”. Maybe go during the day folks but do yourself a favor and avoid this store at night. Shady vibes and hands down the worst customer experience of 2025.

Went through the drive through around 8:15 PM on 12-04-2025 and ordered the classic assorted doughnuts. I was informed they only have plain glazed ones. When I drove to the window, I observed assorted doughnuts one the racks. I received my 12 glazed doughnuts and they looked like the mini ones

The sign said open and we could see people, but the door was locked. Looked like drive thru was maybe open but when my kids and myself wanted to browse to make a decision we couldn't. Drive thru feel rushed unless you know what you want. Closest krispy Kreme is 45 minutes from me so it's not like I can go whenever.

We woke up early to get to this Krispy Kreme location. We arrived shortly after they opened. The dozen glazed donuts we ordered were cold as if they had been put in the refrigerator. Won't waste our time and money again!

I have been a huge Krispy Kreme fan my whole life and the wake forest location is good but literally everytime I try to order from this hillsborough rd location in Durham they never have the hot sign on, are always sold out of doughnuts no matter what time of day it is. I’ve made multiple reports and it usually gets resolved but Wednesday afternoon I placed an online order through the app and received a call from the store 10 minutes later while I was halfway there to pickup the order from a staff member telling me they were sold out and she would refund me with a major attitude and extremely rude then hung up on me and now it’s Friday and I still haven’t got my refund. Worst experience I’ve ever had and it’s normal for this location at this point.

Only one in Durham and they decide to close on VETERAN'S DAY!!! My fiance and I came here to get his free coffee & doughnut and they tell us they're closed BUT at the drive-thru windows a man is loading boxes and boxes of doughnuts into his trunk and it was slammed full!!! But they are turning everyone else away and the drive-thru was PACKED. Obviously they don't care about Veterans at this Krispy Kreme. Absolute BS!!!

I am a US ARMY veteran. I rode the bus to get the donut and coffee that was offered and upon my arrival the doors were locked. The drive thru was the only option. Considering I rode the bus and do not have a vehicle to go thru the drive thru am I supposed to walk thru with the cars in 30 degree weather and wind blowing instead? Couldn't speak to staff and 800 number had to escalate with no resolution at this time.

It was a let down with my kids. We got there on Saturday around 9:00 am. Sign wasn’t on, but they were making donuts, non stop. Got to the front of the line and asked for a fresh one. We were told that the ones in the case were fresh, just not hot. I asked if we could have the hot and fresh ones being made. We were told no. Bought the ones in the case. Definitely not fresh, very stale. Disappointing. Could have bought the boxed ones from our local grocery store.
