Go early to get the pork carnitas tacos - my husband’s favorite tacos but they’re always sold out! (My name is Alisha, not Alicia; I promise I’m not the one whose negative review ended up on the t-shirts!)Dietary restrictions: I feel like most of the items are gluten free because they use corn tortillasKid-friendliness: Not much on the menu for kids since most of it is at least a bit spicy

$16 for TWO Quesabirria tacos is insane! And they were so flavorless! The consume is super oily and taste like water. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Excellent all around. The nachos are unique with huge half-tortilla chips and the party boy platter is enough for two/three people.

Prices are highway robbery, but decent tacos and amazing queso

Leroy’s has some heat coming out of the kitchen. Best tacos in RTP. The quesabirria tacos are hands down the best tacos I’ve had. Anyone who says otherwise is a lobotomite.

Expensive but loved my food. Both tacos and nachos were superb!!!

Super mediocre. Tried twice. Brisket tacos seem to get the scraps left over from Lawrence BBQ next door (which is good). Tough and not very flavorful while being super greasy. Doubtful I will try again but I hope they step it up. Lawrence BBQ brisket tacos sound awesome on paper!

A hidden gem. Housed within Boxyard RTP of can be easy to miss but this place serves up fantastic food with high quality ingredients. Their queso is some of the best I've ever had, and we love the quesobirria tacos with a side of cilantro crema. We enjoy this place so much we've starting coming for takeout even when we're not going to Boxyard.

Super mediocre. Gave it two tries. Meat is dry and not very flavorful. Taco is deep fried and very greasy. Expensive to boot. Sister spot Lawrence next door is decent. Not sure what's up with the discrepancy.

I tried Leroy's Taco Shop for the first time at Boxyard the other day. I heard it was owned by the famous Lawrence BBQ so I had to give it a try. The menu looked simple but it definitely highlighted some good and flavorful items. I ordered the smoked brisket quesabirria taco and the chorizo taco, along with the side of party potatoes. Food was delicious. I do like the deep flavor of the consomé along with the smoky flavor of the quesabirria. The chorizo taco wasn't too bad, very greasy, which is to be expected. The potatoes were crispy and flavorful, with the peanuts adding a surprising crunch factor. The food was very rich, so it did get to be a bit much eating all these rich and intense flavors all at once. I ordered salsa too but they forgot to put it on my tray, which would have cut the fattiness and richness of the dishes. Overall, food was good and I think they would hit the spot if you're looking for some decent tacos. Also, there are some high top tables you could sit at inside or take outside to sit at Boxyard.

I don't think I could give a restaurant with only one vegan option more than 3 stars. The Brussels sprouts taco is v good if you like Brussels sprouts. It's greasy but the portion is on the smaller side so I think it's a good indulgence for vegans at Boxyard-more reasonable than eating the much greasier pizza from Fullsteam lol.

I got the chicken Tacos which was good and the only critique I have is the shredded chicken was bit salty.

WE LOVE LEROY’S!!!! Consistently delicious tacos ? served with kindness.Every time we go, we order the baller chips and MOUTHWATERING SALSA, quesabirria + birria, chicken tinga and chorizo tacos.“Don’t sleep on the Chicken Tinga” as they say.And while you’re at it? Grab a blended cocktail from Lagoon upstairs: you’re welcome.

Brisket Quesabirria taco and consumme were very flavorful (especially the comsumme... first time I've ever had an au jus with my taco and it was delicicous!!) Brisket Nachos... dear Lord, those were SO tasty!!!!!! Serious layers of flavor on those crispy bad boys!! It's absolutely worth making the drive JUST for the food (and the Boxyard and the band were cool, too )
