Brought my wife here for her birthday. It was our first time dining at Little Bull and the food and service were a 13/10! We ordered three tapas plates: The broccolini, arepas, and barbacoa which was plenty of food for the two of us, and some cocktails. Everything was a homerun! Bonus points to our server (Xavier) and the kitchen as my wife has Celiac and they quickly confirmed that the items on the menu marked 'GF' that also included soy sauce were prepared with gluten free soy sauce (we've been places that use regular soy sauce which contains wheat, and it can be problematic for folks with celiac). The *only* note I have about the experience was that it was a little loud in the room; likely a function of whatever restaurant trend has been going on for the past decade where minimalist, untreated/hard surfaces (i.e., concrete) and high ceilings just allow a usual level of din to ricochet off all the walls, doors, and tables. At times we had difficulty hearing our server (and others who came by to check on the table). We could've asked the staff to speak up but I don't think we wanted the reminder that our old ears need the extra accommodation :^P This did *not* impact our enjoyment of the food nor the evening, and we will definitely be back (and hopefully soon)
Can't recommend this restaurant enough - only downside is they could improve the quality of their service to match everything else about the restaurant. It was mediocre - we had to ask the waitress a few times for things, she was unsure on drink availability and our finished plates sat on the table for a bit too long. Food? Phenomenal!! I wanted to order every single menu item.
A Great, one of a kind, brunch menu. From French toast to ramen, it was all delicious. The service was very friendly and personable. We need to go back and try the dinner menu. Thanks, Little Bull.
Outstanding cocktails and shareable plates. The shrimp gambas were so delicious that got a 2nd order. The wait staff are very attentive without being overbearing. Lively environment, but still easy to have a conversation.
Absolutely the best. I can't remember having a meal like this in a long time—so delicious, every bite. The service was amazing too.
Amazing food and service, priced appropriately for the experience. Would recommend ay papa and all the drinks we tried were great
We've enjoyed meals there before, but wow, was this most recent one terrible. The scallop dish smelled absolutely rancid. The stink was overpowering to the point where it was nauseating. They were out of many wines on their list. And the rest of the meal was just sort of underwhelming. I'm not sure I'll try them again anytime soon.
The list of ingredients for each dish presages, the extraordinary taste that awaits! The scallops were just incredible, flavor was a burst of sunshine, not common for seafood dishes that are often enjoyed only buying noticing each ingredients separately. Octopus was charged perfectly for flavor and texture. Cocktails were expertly crafted. The “babe“ gin cocktail was a bit too sweet tasting for me, as I prefer my spirits forward. Wine pairings were well targeted for the dishes recommended. Not my first rodeo at little bowl and not my last either. The places sophisticated yet approachable, curious but welcoming. Great crowd, diverse conversations, and multiple celebrations. Expert hospitality.
Outstanding food and excellent, attentive service. We were 3 people and shared 1 tasting menu plus several tapas dishes that were all delicious. I love that they do not require everyone at the table to purchase a tasting menu. It was just right.
Overall a good experience. Great people and great ambiance. A touch slow with minimal people in the restaurant. I would return though in a heartbeat.

Outstanding delicious food. Definitely try the octopus and gambas. Service was amazing. Molly was energetic and terrific with her food and cocktail recommendations. Cocktails were creative. Best dining experience that I've had in Durham in the past year.
Enjoyed everything about our evening at Little Bull. Inventive cocktails and well explained menu. Each dish had a delightful elevating detail. Solid vibe. Friendly folks.
The food is amazing! I recommend this place to everyone that is looking for a place to eat with friends and family.
It was our first time at Little Bull to celebrate my husband's birthday. We did the tasting menu and tried several things that way. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend and look forward to going back. Also, our server Billy was lovely.
Our server was amazing and our food was really delicious. When we walked in, we were seated and the first thing we were told was how much time we had because they were fully booked that night. I feel like that was a negative way to start our dining experience. The burden of managing reservations are on the restaurant. We left 30 minutes before our deadline but it put a real negative tint on our visit. The first thing you want your customers to experience is how quickly you want them to leave? Won't be coming back soon.
