Bad coffee, expensive for what it is. Better coffee next door. Atmosphere is to be expected from a food hall.

Coffee was terrible, latte was just milk and somehow my iced americano wasn’t even good. Go to Foster Street coffee right next door instead.
Ambience is fine it’s just a food hall.

I decided to try Liturgy today since I have always passed it by for Foster Street next door. I ordered an iced decaf latte with almond milk, mocha and caramel. The drink was absolutely flavorless. It tasted more like water than coffee, and had no sweetness whatsoever. I was pretty disappointed especially after paying 8.50 for the drink and most likely won’t return. But the service was very nice.

Liturgy started my food adventure on the absolute right foot. Some people would be amazed to hear that you can mess up something so simple as coffee but they're actually is a science to it and some people definitely do it better than others. The day I went to liturgy beverage company I didn't order my black cup of coffee I ordered a cortado.
Yes it is much simpler than that mass retailers grande elevated machifentifrappe mix, the simplicity and complexity of the cortado that fine balance is usually missed by many. Maybe because I love coffee more than food and more than strolls in the park or the date night movie maybe that's why I am even writing this review. I didn't feel like I was in a food hall or a cafeteria while sitting at that coffee bar waiting for my drink. The smells, the sounds, you are present at that little coffee bar. It was intimate. It was precise.

The smell of the coffee and the road sleepies drew me in for a quick cup. Great little cortado, and friendly staff! Not much else to say! Thank you!

Phenomenal matcha latte, phenomenal. I’m a bit of a snob for matcha, and this hit all the notes I hoped for. Not weak like many cafes, and not way too strong like others. Exactly the right amount of matcha, well blended with oatmilk and just a tiny bit of sweetness. Absolute perfection! I’ll admit it’s even better than what I make at home, and I’m proud of what I make! It’s the most I’ve ever paid for a matcha at $7, but it was worth it and I hope I get to have another before I leave the area.
Service was also great, and clearly the guy is great at his job. Give him a raise!

My friends and I think that this is some of the best coffee in Durham. It’s a cute little coffee shop with nice hours that opens early in the morning (perfect for a reward after a run or bike ride or trip to the farmers market just up the street). My favorites are the vanilla latte (hot or iced is great) and the ham and cheese croissant - my favorite in Durham too!

Neat coffee shop located within a place with other little restaurants serving different kinds of foods. The seating is all kind of overlapping like a food court, which isn't bad. The Vanilla Latte was decent here as well.
Parking: Parking closeby was difficult to find.

Barista messed up making the coffee, we saw the other employee was going to throw it away and barista signaled him to just serve it to us. We tried it and it was bad and asked for a new one. They replaced the coffee with a much better one and corrected their mistake.

I love this coffee shop, but more than once I’ve received my order either completely missing the sweetener I’ve requested or just that it’s literally undetectable. For the pricing here, it hurts when what you’re paying for is not right. Still overall a great place with friendly staff; just hope less order mistakes happen.
