Liturgy’s chai latte is my favorite in the area! Unfortunately their limited hours mean that I’ve had to miss out on my chai more than once, since I’ve not been able to get there before their 3pm close.

To the people who just love a high quality cup of coffee, this is your place. They have an amazing featured roast with high quality beans, and it costs about as much as a nasty Pike's Place from Starbucks.

The staff here, including Marcus, MJ, and all others, are very kind and helpful. I always enjoy my visits here.

A fine coffee shop in a larger food hall. No majors knocks but nothing (coffee, ambiance, etc) stood out as exceptionally enjoyable.

If you’re going to charge $6 for a regular cup of coffee (like come on, it’s beans and water)
At least make sure it tastes good.

If there is a more serious espresso bar in Durham, it has yet to be revealed. Liturgy checks all the boxes and simply nails all the important qualities while leaving all the other BS behind. Just one example will give you a sense of just how serious they are when pulling shots: everything is weighed twice. Yep. They weigh the shot when grinding and then weigh again when the shot is being pulled. Watching the pro behind the machines here was impressive. For example, I believe he’s right down to the tenth of a gram in measurements. You simply don’t see this commitment in many places and this is just one example of the overall experience you have at Liturgy. The final photo in the review is of the double scales at work behind the espresso machine. Don't pass this one up. One of my favorites anywhere.

I've worked with Liturgy to provide coffee for several large events in the Durham area and have been so impressed by them every time. Tim is super communicative and makes sure we're set up well for coffee service at each event. I'll definitely be coming back!

I always get their macchiato and is perfectly balanced. Extra points for having ceramic mugs!! (Nearby coffee shops only have to-go paper cups, not the best way to taste an espresso…)

Possibly the best coffee shop in all of NC. The menu is constantly rotating with inventive and refreshing takes on coffee classics, the baristas are literal championship quality and the food comes from some of the best sourced places around the community. They also treat and pay their employees extremely well so tipping is not required. It’s a legit small business and a dream to support. The best of the best. Don’t miss this place.

Dang it, their coffee is good. But why is it something as simple as a cup that contains my drink is always a problem here? Please fix your lid and cup situation! I always forget this and end up going to Cocoa down the street because I don’t have to worry about coffee dripping down my hand and shirt.
