Liturgy started my food adventure on the absolute right foot. Some people would be amazed to hear that you can mess up something so simple as coffee but they're actually is a science to it and some people definitely do it better than others. The day I went to liturgy beverage company I didn't order my black cup of coffee I ordered a cortado.

Phenomenal matcha latte, phenomenal. I’m a bit of a snob for matcha, and this hit all the notes I hoped for. Not weak like many cafes, and not way too strong like others. Exactly the right amount of matcha, well blended with oatmilk and just a tiny bit of sweetness. Absolute perfection! I’ll admit it’s even better than what I make at home, and I’m proud of what I make! It’s the most I’ve ever paid for a matcha at $7, but it was worth it and I hope I get to have another...

My friends and I think that this is some of the best coffee in Durham. It’s a cute little coffee shop with nice hours that opens early in the morning (perfect for a reward after a run or bike ride or trip to the farmers market just up the street). My favorites are the vanilla latte (hot or iced is great) and the ham and cheese croissant - my favorite in Durham too!
