It is an integral part of the community at this point, as a meeting place, an employer (especially of local high school and college students, as well as people who could use some extra income in this current economy), a supporter of small “sundries” businesses, many of them local, and a place for friends and families to take a beat after busy days. The work and love put into Locopops shows in every aspect…most especially the amazing original flavors for their house made popsicles and ice cream!

We ordered 100 mini pops for our wedding, and they were a hit! Their website is super easy for orders like this, especially for extras like dry ice and a cooler since we were low on freezer space. Highly recommended for any event!

Got the lavender cream popsicle and I can’t stop thinking about it, I love this little place!
However, this is much more than just an ice cream shop. They also have cute cards and puzzles, and act as a locally-sourced grocery store with farm fresh milk, eggs, pasta, etc.
Overall, this is up there with the Duke Gardens as one of my favorite places in Durham.
