Tried their ice cream out for the first time yesterday. I got the leftover pie and chocolate hazlenut flavours and both were super yummy. My husband got the vietnemese coffee flavour and that was very good too for those who like coffee. Lot of fun flavours available to explore. Hope to visit again soon to try out their popsicles!

Absolutely our favorite ice cream place in Durham. Highly underappreciated. Flavors are creative and unique and tasty. And Carlos at the register is awesome. Always gives great advice about the flavors and we love his honest opinions on the options!. Great all-around local spot

If you want the best popsicles in town, come here! They have a regular list of popsicles and also a rotating list of monthly popsicles. My go to is the Mexican chocolate or lemon curd. Their staff is always very friendly and even though it's $3 a popsicle, they are well worth it! Always a go to when I have friends coming to visit.

I've had many a locopop from various events that catered from here. But I'm way more of an ice cream gal than a popsicle gal so I definitely recommend coming here to try their scoops. Great selection of rotating flavors - I recall a lemon and olive oil flavor that was unique and actually quite good. You can also build your own ice cream sandwich. Reasonable prices, too. Workers there are friendly. Nice seating on the porch and indoors as well. Parking is along the side - not too many spaces, but I've never had an issue getting a spot.

The most AMAZING CREAMY DELICIOUS vegan ice cream!!!!! We had the apple pie and white chocolate peppermint and they were both incredible! Hands down the best ice cream we’ve had!! The vibe is also amazing and and a super cute hang out spot!

Locopops is the cutest spot to hang out and cool down with a refreshing popsicle or scoop of homemade ice cream. It's located in an older home with a large porch; both the indoor area and the exterior are cozy and inviting. The flavors of the popsicles and ice creams are unique and varied and the prices are reasonable. Locopops is super kid-friendly, with smaller sized popsicles and a cute little kid's corner with a table and plenty of storybooks. They also have many vegan options. Allergens are noted on their menu, so you can always be sure you're getting something safe for you and your family. Locopops engages the local community with regular story times for kids, live musicians, and similar gatherings.

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Durham! I've seen carts and other stores sell Locopops, but I had never been to the actual store until recently. It's close to downtown Durham. Beware - there is little parking, but we've never had issues finding at least one spot. It's a small shop, but the popsicles and ice cream are so tasty. They sell all kinds of flavors and even have vegan options. They also sell kid sizes too. The price is incredibly reasonable at $3 for popsicles and a scoop of ice cream in a cup. The kid size popsicles are $1.50. My family loved it! They even have a small kids corner with books and a table for your little one to sit. The staff were incredibly friendly. The rocking chairs on the porch were a nice touch as well. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

We LOVE locopops. So tasty and fun. My baby boy has some food allergies and so now we have another reason to love it here - vegan ice cream and a really helpful allergen list! Thanks, we approve!

Great little shop we visited when seeing our daughter at NCSSM. Good mix of flavors. Would definitely go back again.

Employee would rather answer two phone call right in front of me while I wait rather than help a costumer waiting to buy something. Would be a great place if they didn’t have snobby kids running it.

The flu shot was delicious!

Strawberry milkshake is a power move here.

All around great. The menu board clearly lists common allergens, the flavors range from tame to wacky, and it's got a charming atmosphere. I got the peanut butter & jelly ice cream and was NOT disappointed.

I can only speak to the lemon curd pop but good gosh it was delicious. Well worth the $3. If you're in the area check it out! They have a wide variety of flavors so there's something for everyone.

The pops have such wonderful flavors. Passion fruit Margarita and Lemon Curd are my favorites, but you simply can't go wrong when choosing. The building has the perfect atmosphere. Even better, the new porch with the wheelchair accessible ramp is fantastic!

LocoPops is awesome my kids love it, we love it so glad to have something like this close to home. Everything taste so fresh and the chill atmosphere is awesome, employees are nice too!

I've enjoyed their tasty frozen pops for years and it was so much fun to hire them to cater our June 2019 wedding! It was perfect for our outdoor reception- our guests loved their little cart, selecting their unique flavors, and of course the yummy pops on a warm NC summer afternoon! It was fun to get to select as many flavors as we wanted to provide variety. Prices are fair and the product can't be beat.

I recommend, but with a caveat. My family has frequented Locopops pretty regularly since it first opened in the original location. Unfortunately, we haven’t been much since the move to the new location. Parking has always been tricky, but seems to be even more so at the new place. Additionally, my mother had total knee replacement in November 2018, thus having trouble walking on the uneven grassy area near the road and stairs leading up to the entrance of the building.

We learn from this place one year ago and then We finally came today! OH M Y G O D!!!! Loved them!!!! We'll be back for sure!!

Crazy pops! It's in the name! These are crazily delicious! I'm not a huge popsicle fan, but these...these I will eat daily! Refreshing, tasteful and just an all around gear summer treat! I've had the lemon and strawberry and both are quite enjoyable. Great place to bring the family, kids or even a date!

Tim McMackin

Soooo many good popsicle and ice cream flavors! Their new building and porch are great, too!
