The empanadas were amazing. Very tasteful not over salted. The black beans were wonderful too, and the kale.

I really enjoyed my meal at Luna's. They offer a very intriguing menu that crosses several types of Latin American cuisine. I ordered the chili-braised pulled brisket, which was cooked to perfection. I also adored the coconut rice and beans. The collard greens were good, but lacking in spice and instead had a very strong apple cider vinegar taste. My only disappointment was the pisco sour which tasted OK, but looked very unappealing. My sister also tried the sangria, which oddly had a ton of club soda in it.

We came in on a Thursday evening for dinner, and the place wasn't too crowded. The tables aren't really well suited for groups larger than four, and the seating isn't the most comfortable. Although the service was good and fast, we did run into an issue with being overcharged via the QR code payment process.

The atmosphere is very soothing. Parking is hard since it is downtown Durham. The food is good with decent portions but there are better prices elsewhere.

We had a fantastic dinner at Luna Rotisserie. The empanadas and arepas were both bursting with flavor and tasted incredibly authentic. You can tell real care goes into the preparation.

The sangria was the perfect refreshment on a hot summer day—light, fruity, and just the right amount of sweetness.

Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and a solid spot for anyone craving Latin American comfort food in downtown Durham. We’ll definitely be back!

Love this place, space and staff are warm and welcoming. Amazing veggie/vegan options with great alcohol free drinks. Love to come here, chill at the bar and enjoy the food, beverage and convos with the staff.

Great first experience. The food was great. Plenty to share, fresh and good presentation.
We tried the fried cauliflower and papas fritas to start. Wonderfully seasoned and not greasy. We ordered the Pollo ala Brasa with plantains and yucca fries. The cinnamon crema was “real” crema and a perfect compliment to the plantains. The chicken was jucy and cooked to perfection. The grain bowl packed a perfect protein balance with the tender brisket. The churrasco was drizzled with really good chimichuri. One skewer with steak the other with shrimp, yum. I was impressed with the coconut rice and loved the amount of veggie options.

Indeed, there, upon the mantle of one’s most tangible good sources, laid so gently upon mine eyes such beauty of cuisine as to inspire my most melodious passions. That is, when flavor met tongue — or was it heart — I seemed an effigy of awe. Awe, turned to purest rage. A seething not against incompetency, nor lack, nor any such unpleasant makings, but rather against an inner child who simply can no more comprehend exquisite flavor as a dog comprehends the shape of its tiny perceived universe. Indeed, I was enraged, moaning, desirous, dismantled, amazed. Pleasure, and all the more pleasure.

Took a bit longer than expected to prep the order though.

The smash burger was amazing! My son had both the pulled pork and quinoa empanadas. I tasted the pulled pork one, and it too was amazing and full of flavor.

Everything we ate here was excellent. Our waiter was great & super friendly.
The only drawback is that we had to eat outside, which probably would've been fine during the day, but not at dusk.

A pleasant surprise - while looking for a place to have lunch got mixed with the need to find cover from heavy rain. Luna's staff treated us like they knew us - in a good way. Spotless service and delicious food. No issues with modifications on our order. Great restaurant.
