The fried chicken is not worth the amount served. The price did not match the amount we got. The South Indian curry was good and spicy however very disappointed with the fried chicken. This photo was maybe after 4 bites of the chicken. They’re all small nugget pieces. Our garlic naan also had no garlic. Should’ve gotten butter so at least something was on it. The masala was also just plain mashed potatoes. No flavors just plain potatoes. The color u see in the pictures is the butter chicken sauce (minus the chicken) they gave us on the side
Whenever I go to Durham I make a stop here. Tikka Masala on top with the mango lassi is peak.
If you’re visiting Durham, going to the food hall, or just craving good food then this is your go-to place. Everyone was super helpful in giving recommendations, explaining the menu, etc. They had the chewiest and most flavorful naan I’ve had in a long while. Everything from the chickpeas to the South Indian curry was perfectly seasoned and noticeably made with a passion. The story of this spot is wonderful so make sure you read their history as well.
The best garlic Naan I’ve had on this side of the planet, it brought back wonderful memories!

Authentic Punjabi food. Loved it.
Charge extra for everything and don’t tell the customer. When asked about where it was listed they said it will be coming, but it’s false advertising. They also charged 15% tip (not a tip) on all orders.
Food was ok not that good to be 18 dollars for a plate. Pretty disappointed.
Absolutely amazing 10/10 recommend will be back again!!!

The chicken biriyani was super tasty! Very healthy portion as well. Chicken 65 is not traditional, but the chicken is fried well. Ordered food HOT and it was VERY HOT - happy with it!
