I tried this place out on Friday after passing by it for quite some time and I'm so happy we stopped! I ordered the Smokehouse Reuben and OMG it was good. My husband ordered wings with sauce on the side. The chef accidentally added the sauce on the wings but it was a happy mistake for us because they still turned out great. 10/10! Will go back to this restaurant.
Love this place! I saw a post in the taproom saying "put some south in your mouth"! Perfectly said! This has got to be some of the best smokehouse in Durham. We got the Memphis rubbed Pulled chicken Sandwich, and the Texas dry rubbed prime brisket and a side of Caribbean jerk wings. Each sandwich came with a side and hushpuppies, for our side we got the maverick fries...yummy! Also, Duke was playing UNC so we got the specialty "Duke" drink. Everything was top...
This place is genuinely the best. the fact it only have 3.9 stars baffles me. the staff is so friendly, and I've never tried something here that wasn't done perfectly.
