This is the most charming and delicious small restaurant and grocery. Everything was amazing and very reasonably priced. We left super full but also feeling wonderful because it's so healthy. We'll look forward to coming back soon!

I had the gyro with the rice and lentils side. They were all flavorful and hot. The person who took my order was welcoming and patient in describing what was in each dish. The restaurant is in the grocery store. There was nothing wrong with it, but you would not describe it as chic or bustling vibe. It was quiet, the colors were muted, and the set up was very casual. It would be a great place to have a solo meal or small group meal.

Authentic and delicious! I’ve spent time eating in Greece, Turkey, and Bulgaria, and the food at Mediterranean Grill & Grocery instantly brought me back. Everything was perfectly seasoned — flavorful without being overly salty like a lot of American food tends to be. The location is tucked inside a small plaza in a neighborhood, which gave it that cozy, local European vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the real deal!

Great food - doesn't give me heartburn like many other Mediterranean restaurants do. People working there were super nice. Mostly a counter service place so atmosphere is average

Ordered beef gyro (lunch), veggie platter (dinner) and baklava (dessert). Two servings on the veggie platter were “salty,” which is unusual and disappointing. The beef gyro and baklava were great!!!

Vegetarian options: Venue has vegetarian dishes made fresh daily for purchase as a platter or a la carte (by the pound).

My wife and I each had a delicious gyro for lunch here. Hers was chicken, mine was beef/lamb. Both were great. Friendly staff. And we got to do our early voting at the Zakat Foundation Community Center next door!

So. Freaking. Good. We had the gyro, kafta, mujadara, hummus, baba ganoush and the cabbage salad with rice. Everything was delicious and wx needed our expectations. Friendly staff.

A hidden jewel! Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, Mediterranean Grill and Grocery is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the triangle area. Everything is fresh and made to order. I’m a vegan and I appreciate the large amount of options they have. Best falafel around. Excellent pita, hummus, tahini. Amazing side dishes: I’ve had Mujadara, Curried Chick Peas. Orzo, Cold Eggplant salad and others which I’m forgetting. Staff is very friendly. Service excellent and the prices are more than well worth it. For lunch I usually get their special: Pita sandwich; and for $2 extra you get a side and a a drink. You can’t beat that!

This Durham gem has the best baba ganoush and tabbouleh. I enjoyed it in a hot pita with the most excellent roasted cauliflower, zucchini, eggplant and onions. My friend and I also shared an order of delicious stuffed grape leaves. Excellent ? service and community atmosphere. A must try for sure. It was so busy when we were there, but our food came out in reasonable time. A $400 phone order was taken just as I was ordering, so you can imagine how excellent this food is. I had to compliment the owner in person because I was so impressed. -from a happy, food savvy Greek vegetarian.
