Great place, great food! Been here several times before seeing a show at DPAC or before going to a Bulls game. Food is always fantastic and tasty. Always loved Mellow Mushroom as a franchise

Great people. Great food. Many eating options besides pizza 🍕

Oh Dear

Had a yummy lunch here. Got a sandwich that was out of this world. The bread, too, was outstanding. The sandwich was called the California Club. Pleasant service, too. Our server was Phoenix! Recommend this place!

Figured I'd give it one more try. It's probably great if you have kids, but the pizza is just mediocre.

People Friendly, Not Pet Friendly
Some restaurants allow customers to bring their dogs to sit with them in outdoor/indoor eating areas. This is an unwise practice and should be avoided. There are many reasons why all restaurants should ban this practice.
Allowing canines to lounge around an area where humans eat is unsanitary. Dogs carry germs and may spread them to the chairs, tables, and food.
Additionally, not all people like dogs, nor do they want to be around them. Some people are even extremely afraid of dogs, so they avoid them at all costs.
a restaurant could lose a lot of business from these types of customers.
The idea to let dog owners dine with their furry companions is meant to attract more business.
this practice will likely have the opposite effect. Restaurants should remain people friendly, not pet friendly.
I will not eat here again for the simple reason of sanitation. I don't know if somebody's pet's ass has touched licked salivating on the table or seat or if the persons cleaning have sanitized properly and what cloth they used to clean table /seat. Maybe they use the same cloth to clean all tables. No no no this whole pets in restaurants is an unsafe bad idea. Research people the risks. So if it is so okay, then why when you get certified to have a home kitchen, you're not allowed to have pets at all.

I have been to a couple of Mellow Mushrooms in the RDU area and I’ve always seen the sign that says no dogs allowed inside. I completely understand the reason for this rule as it is unsanitary to have animals in a restaurant and on tables where people are eating. This is one of the reasons I frequent Mellow Mushroom. I was taken aback tonight when I was at the location in Durham and the waitress seated a man with a dog at the table and allowed him to get on top of the table when other people eat as well. I will not be coming back to this location again.

The food was delicious and the service was fine 🙏 It’s lively and cool place in downtown area. I would come back again.
