Melo’s is a pleasant place with decent food, but I’ve always felt their prices were higher than their food quality. The last time I was here, a tapas plate with two lollipop lamb chops was $14; today one larger but fatty chop was $17.95, and on top of that, they now add 3.49% if you pay with a credit card. I know this is a tough time for restaurants, but this seems somewhat excessive, especially when a nearby bistro has similar prices and better food. I won’t rule out returning, but the combination of higher prices and lesser quality does not encourage a future visit.

I ordered the Pesto Creama with Shrimp. The shrimp were not cleaned out, and the sauce was more of a soup. One person took our drink order, another our food, another brought the food. One person brought the check and then we waited like 10 minutes for someone else to come pick it up, and then the first person then brought it back. Also not too sure about what the theme of the place was supposed to be.

Beware ! They are adding 3.49% upcharge to your bill due to inflation BUT if you pay cash inflation does not apply..???!?!! They do not advise the prices on the menu are not actually the prices. They purposely tuck the receipt down into the holder with the 3.49% up charge not visible. The staff acts suspicious and know exactly what you are going to ask and blame your incorrect bill on being a small business trend. There is a sign on one of the windows situated behind a bush. The entire experience was ruined by their sneaky gimmick for $3.00!

My husband and I dine here often. Everything is fantastic. The rosemary bread, the amazing potato soup, and don’t get me started on the tapas. The lamb chops are incredible. I have never been disappointed here. Be sure to make a reservation since it’s a small restaurant.

I came to town to do an event and was staying at the courtyard Marriott and was starving. Found this place across the street. The staff was very nice specifically Blanca she was my weight staff person. She was fantastic very friendly. Very nice. The food was great and quick and hot and tasty and for the price I paid it was worth what I paid and just a very good experience.

With food this good you're bound to have returning customers. Pollo Inamorato was outstanding. Garlic mash potatoes and mixed vegetables (could have used more) were just as good as the chicken.
