Average Mexican place. Not a fan of the false advertising of it being open 24/7. I went once at a little after midnight and it was closed. Tacos are delicious though. UPDATE last time I went here the lady added a 15% tip on my take out order without my knowledge. I haven't been back sense. Now they seem to be closed down. Good!

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Very clean and colorful. We ordered the syeak fajita nachos. Not only was it delicious, but we shared one order and had leftovers. The mango margarita and strawberry margaritas were on flique.

Ordered delivery from this restaurant and received less than half of my order. Couldn’t get anybody on the phone no matter how many times I tried, and they’re going to close with no recourse for screwing me out of half of the items I ordered. I’ll know not to bring my business here ever again.

Mexcali has become a staple in our household. It’s close, convenient, and has late night hours (although we have noticed it’s not necessarily 24/7 all the time). Today, our order was incorrect. Upon calling they quickly accommodated & offered to remake our food. Although coming back was slightly inconvenient, I was very appreciative of the customer service that was provided. We will be back!

Don't come here if you want your food fresh and in a timely manner. She forgot my order and then acted like she didn't understand English even though she had just taken the order and was speaking English. At the end of the day we all make mistakes but at least just admit, apologize, and make it right. At the food was not even good. I say if your drunk and desperate for food and the line for cookout or Waffle House is too long for sure a last resort type stop.

Best meal so far in the states. Great Mexican, excellent service. Super friendly. Got an amazing taco and the biggest beer I have ever seen. So definitely can't complain. Great atmosphere and open really late. If you are looking for a late night meal or a good Mexican meal at any time, you can't go past these guys.

The food was amazing! Me and my sons ate Frida burrito absolutely amazing! It was spicy and I don’t even like spicy but I ate it because cream sauce was amazing! Everything felt and tasted authentic! The waiter was so friendly! She loved my boys!!! I am ordering again now!

The owner desperately needs help in how to operate a business effectively & honestly. He takes the tips that are left for the workers so don't even bother tipping on your card.... only leave cash. I called in my order only to arrive for it not to be ready bc the number listed goes to him, not the restaurant. So I sat there for 20 minutes waiting. When I called to followup to ask what would be a better way to order ahead...no answer. I've been coming here since they opened bc the food is good. I wish the workers had a better owner bc this guy is a joke.

Food was good.Menu is on the wall with prices.I ordered the 3 taco dinner, clearly listed for $15.88.After finished, going to pay, the guy says $20.98. Ha? Asked how come, price is clearly visible. He said "that's how it ran up, I don't know. I'm not the owner. Do you want to talk to the owner?" He didn't look like he was a server either. Was watching the soccer game in the dining room.Paid and left. Will never return. Can't support this kind of deception.

Bad service will ruin a good thing.I came to pick up an online order & the email didn't have the name in it.I told the woman my name and showed the confirmation & she's like we need a name on the confirmation. She was rude & when I tried to show the order number along with confirmation she acted as if that didn't suffice.I was able to get the name on the toast website but jumping through hoops to pick up my own order that I can show was placed is excessive. And the attitude was unnecessary.I don't care if the food is good. Quality service tops all else.& then the order number is on the bag smh difficult for no reason.

This place is open 24/7 it says, but they shouldn’t probably move to traditional hours because the quality is lacking. I have ordered this a few times and the food is not great. I keep giving it a try. The orders are wrong, generally. The chicken is dry and the veggies are not cooked all the way. Plus, the cashier Vianey is cheating customers out of money by applying a suggested tip to receipts. I did not choose my own tip and looking at my receipts vs what i ordered it is obvious that they are stealing right in front of us. Mexicali, Please fix this. Your establishment is beautiful but I am so disappointed.

I feel like a normal review should be from a normal dining experience. So, while mine was not good. Mine wasn't normal. No chips. No Salsa. No napkins. No water. What the fudge? I sat outside and they forgot everything, even me, but remembered the 18% FOR A TIP. Nearly $40 for 3 tacos and a beer. No chips. No Salsa. No napkins. No water. I feel like they are only open for Mexican soccer games. I'm not their demographic so this isn't going to be read by anyone that cares anyways. But just know, if you aren't already there for Futbol, the foods good just expensive (which is true of any joint that proclaims to be 24/7. But again nearly $40.No chips. No Salsa. No napkins. No water. $10 beer was on spot.

Went for a late night dinner and service and food were outstanding. Ordered the birria tacos with consumme and had a freshly squeezed mango drink to top it off. Wait staff is very pleasant to talk to and the restaurant is clean. Don't sell yourself short and be sure to check them out especially for a late, late night dinner option if your on this side of Durham.
