LOVE the food and drinks here, but wasn't impressed with the service last time I went with a friend. The server was very pushy and judgy with our margarita choices and kept pushing the sale for us to get more expensive liquor in our margaritas. She also didn't have a great suggestion when I told her what kind of margarita I wanted. She just kept pushing for us to get expensive stuff and was judging when we said no.

Went around 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon, we were seated quickly. Our server Mikial was very knowledgeable and super friendly! Food came out quickly & fresh! Everyone around made sure to keep our tables clean of trash and Mikial made sure we were satisfied & drinks were full! Overall a great experience!

I came to Mezcalito after hearing all of the reviews. Well it has lived up to the hype. The service from Antonio was simply amazing. His energy and fun nature was perfect! The food was flavorful and the atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be back soon.

First time at Mezcalito and definitely won’t be our last. We are not from the Durham area but our daughter is moving to the area. Now we will have a reason to visit the Durham, Chapel Hill and RTP area and explore food.
The salsa was soooo very good and the chips were a perfect match. My wife’s Platano Relleno definitely was the best meal on the table. The chicken soup was very good as well. My Mezcalito bowl and my daughter’s tacos were very good as well.

I’ve been twice now and both experiences were great. The staff is always friendly, I’ve been served quickly, and the atmosphere is fun. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for a fun Mexican restaurant with really tasty food
