Thanks for all the prior reviews that had us head here! Have to add on and pass it forward.Nice set up. Rustic. What a bbq place should be like! Service is not the most friendly but they get the job done and we were just fine.Fantastic ribs! The rub was so good I did not want any sauce. Probably the best ribs I have ever had!My husband loves BBQ sauce and was disappointed that it wasn't slathered in sauce. We did realize as we walked out, there was plenty sauce by the condiments table. My take , ribs are just perfect the way it is served, but if you want more sauce checkout the condiments table.Our son got the shrimp po boy sandwich and said it was excellent.The sides were good. Very tasty, we had the roasted corn, collard greens and Reese's pie. They are served very hot, so be careful not to burn.Last but not least, their cornbread was fantastic!Not sure if we will be back in Durham but if we are, we will stop by again!

This is the best bbq I've had in a while. I take my dad to a new BBQ joint every time he visits and this blew us away. Seriously can't go wrong with any of the sides. Ribs are smoked to perfectionThe portions are perfect. It is on the pricey side but hey, it's high quality food. They ain't serving Buches baked beans. Adding a wet wipe to each tray would be a welcomed addition to the meal. Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I came here tonight for dinner passing thru the city- loved every bite! The pulled pork was tender & flavorful… the smoked wings were a 10/10. All sides were tasty and a good portion size. Would highly recommend!

Good bbq - pork ribs were cooked just right. Good options for sides but portion size of sides are small, may be the platter of sides have sufficient portions.

The food is delicious and hot, it doesn't need any sauce. Hubby had the large rib plate and I had the pork plate.

First time diner. Enjoyed smoke wings. They had some dipping sauce for them. You didn't need dipping sauce. Best smoke wings I have ever eaten. Collard greens with kielbasa mixed indelicious.The corn bread must have been a restaurant specialty which was unique and moist.The staff was polite and eager to serve. A must try if you are in the area. Definite 5 STARS!!!

I’m from Texas and this place made the best pork ribs I’ve ever had in my life.Great atmosphere, huge portions, and amazing ribs. The younger guy at the counter was also super friendly and open to telling two Texans about Durham and the surrounding area.This place is an 11/10. Highly recommended and don’t sleep on the mud pies either.Parking: We didn’t have any issues parking in the lot on a weekday afternoon.

From the service the second we walked in to the food and decor it was amazing! Everything was incredibly delicious and perfect, the BBQ was delicious and all the sides were perfect temp and steller flavor! Definitely will come back again!
