I LOVE this place and that love has only grown since the pandemic, when Monuts added a pickup door and made it possible for me to zip in and out for orders during lunch breaks at work. I love their amazing food and the fun seasonal options. (That Kale, Apple, Farro & Hazelnut salad is my favorite salad in the whole world. And you have to try to Fall Squealer if you haven't yet, holy cow.) I love that they pay their folks a living wage and don't do tips. The current national tipping environment is confusing and frustrating and it honestly feels like a load off to not even have to think about it. I love that they always have creative baked goods on offer. (Shout out to the Monuts bakers, y'all are amazing!) And their online ordering system is easy to use. Just a top notch restaurant, my favorite in the Triangle.

The food here is good but I’m just SO fed up with the slow service on take out orders. I ordered a to go order at 8:15 am, knowing it would be packed on a weekend, which is fine. The estimated time for pick up was 9:30. Cool. I get there at 9:30 and the FOOD is ready. It’s 10 am and I still haven’t gotten my coffee. My food is getting cold and I can’t wrap my head around why it takes 1.5 hours to make a coffee? I could have eaten in and left by now! So annoying

Groovy spot in an often underwhelming town. Parking is plentiful. The food is fresh and dishes are creative. I’m not usually a light/medium coffee drinker but this brew was quite good. Docked a star because the place had a few little flags around for gays and pseudoscientific quackery, which is obnoxious and dumb.

These are my favorite donuts on the east coast. Believe me, I've traveled all over and these are the best donuts I've ever had. Anytime I'm in town, this is my first stop.
Sadly, the coffee tasted very weird Friday morning (10/17). I got a cortado and it was very grainy in texture and didn't wake me up. My partner got a regular coffee. It was also, grainy and weird tasting like it was the dregs of the machine even thought it was early morning. We had a 3 hour drive and we were both dragging because the coffee watered down or something. I'm going to assume it was a fluke since I've been coming here for a few years.
