Pleasantly surprised at the spice levels in the spicy lamb achari. Prices are on the higher side (~$20 per meat main) but the quality is good.

EDIT:Food is outstanding, and service just blew my mind. best Indian food and ownership you will find in the area. (Buffet is out of this world good). You HAVE to thy this place!I had originally left a negative review because we were sure that our cards had been stolen at this restaurant. Ownership immediately reached out, investigated thoroughly, and shared evidence that we were incorrect. The fact that they immediately reacted to this and investigated properly to get to the bottom line, is outstanding.

Food was not so good. I could say the worst Indian food I had anywhere in the USA so far. If possible skip this place. Very less portions as well for the price you pay.

The tandoori chicken is not "The Tandoori Chicken", it was missing a lot of warm spices. It tasted good but it's not what you would expect.

I went here on the suggestion of a colleague. I love the name! I also like the affordable lunch box. The food was mid at best. Definitely better Indian food in Durham. The pakoora tasted like they've been sitting all day. The tamarind sauce was thin and very spicy. They do have the best mango Lassi I've tasted so I'd go for a cup of that..although it is a very small serving.

This is my first ever review. My wife and I were passing through Durham and decided to give this place a try. It did not disappoint. It was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. My wife studied abroad in India and she said it was the best she has had in America. We got samosas, aloo naan, onion naan, mix veg pakora, butter chicken and palak paneer. Every single dish slapped. Go here.
