Great spot. Ask them to make you a Caipirinha cocktail. You will love it. I had a filet and it was very good. They also had a chimichurri sauce that was fantastic. Enjoy!

We arrived a bit early, so missed the rush. That said, our server was polite, professional and helpful--with great recommendations on food and drink. We ordered the rib eye with Brielle sprouts and the fries along with wine and an English Mule to drink. Honestly, it was all so good that we forgot to take pictures! The steak was perfectly prepared and seasoned and the fries were incredibly good. The English mule is made with Pimms and ginger syrup and tasted great -- loved the recommendation. High recommend.

The steals were cooked to the perfect temperature. However one side was charred, almost blackened. Both steaks were clearly burned on one side. The taste was outstanding and I never get a steak done right so I was very pleased with the steak. The wedge salad was not great. I love a wedge salad so I was quite disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were burned as well and the only reason we didn't send them back was the outstanding flavor. The calamari was not very good at all. I don't expect a frozen appetizer in a restaurant that is this pricy. The desserts were horrid. The chocolate cake was tasteless. The strawberry shortcake was so dry that not even 5e juice of the berries saved it. The creme brûlée was so bland that I'm positive they forgot the vanilla. All in all, if I am spending $300 on a meal for 3 I expect it to be outstanding and this was a huge disappointment! I wanted their burger because I heard it was amazing but you can't get the burger in the dining room. How snobby is that???

Nana Steak was fantastic! My friend and I came before a show at DPAC. We weren’t able to get reservations so we arrived a few minutes before they opened and sat at the bar. The food was out of this world, and the drinks were perfect. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. We shared fries and my friend’s filet was excellent. A brownie with bourbon caramel wrapped up our meal. I can’t wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: While the staff was friendly and I did see some older children in the restaurant I wouldn’t choose to bring small children here at the price point and with the menu options.

Great spot for drinks etc, not the best food for the price. We wanted a good steak to celebrate a special occasion and thought this would be a great choice. The service and atmosphere were wonderful but the grade of meat and flavor was far from the $60 price tag. I would return here but would not get steak if that is what you are looking for.

We went here for dinner last night and every single thing that we had was amazing, drinks included. We sat at the bar and the bartender was phenomenal. (A woman, brown hair, just got back from Paris... I really wish I remembered her name) I've wanted to try Nana Steak for years and someone told me it was overrated and I hate whoever that person was... because I've been missing out. I also hate anyone who has the audacity to say that the Barn place has the best steak in this area. Here's what we had: Lobster bisque- great Caesar salad- really good but A LOT of dressing Homemade bread- sweet, but salty... so so good Australian Wagyu- I mean, do I even need to say anything? Potato puree- good, not the best I've had but I'm a potato snob Brussels sprouts- great! My husband said this was the first dinner he's had in the area that made him feel like he lived in a bigger city. He smiled the entire time he ate his steak and I've taken him to quite a few steak spots. Just great!

The restaurant and overall experience was amazing. Our servers were great and everyone in the restaurant would check to make sure you were good. The cocktails were well made and the pork chop and filet were seasoned to perfection. The food was great! Do not hesitate to book. It was worth every penny!

It was my 3rd time eating there and every time has been amazing. It's the perfect special occasion spot to go before a DPAC show. Perfectly cooked filet mignon every time and great wine selection.

I made reservations here because we had tickets for the Peter Pan show. They got us right in and seating in dining when we arrived. The place is nice! The waitstaff was thorough and happy to answer any questions we had. I'm a bit of a steak snob. A lot of places that have come highly recommended in Raleigh/Durham just didn't do it for us. I'm so happy to report that Nana Steak did a superb job. I had a NY strip and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We opted to share the beef fat fries upon the waitresses suggestion and they were really good too! We finished dinner with a delicious Crème brûlée. The custard was thicker than we're used to, but I quote liked that. What really stood out about the service was their offer to bag up and hold our leftovers for us, so we could go enjoy the show and just stop back in to pick up on the way out. I look forward to coming back!

First our server was terrific . Prime rib looks nothing like the picture. We found the prices to be high like a 5 star steak house , the atmosphere, the service and the food do not keep up . They were out of bread at 8:00 on a Saturday night . and they need to clean the windows into the "open kitchen".

While in town for work I met some friends here for dinner and the food was absolutely amazing! The sides are shareable size and I highly recommend all of them and the dinner rolls are so good! The service was top Tier and our server Jared was very attentive and engaged with us beyond just taking our order and bringing the food out. What I liked about the ambiance was there when you first walk in you have a nice bar and high top area so if you're looking for an upscale bar vibe you can get that. Then to the side and up stairs you have a fine dining vibe that also offers a private space on the second level with its own bar if you ever want to host a dinner. Overall great experience with amazing food and I highly recommend!

Food was good but with this caveat: you can always add salt to a dish, but you cannot remove it once garnished . Every dish, entrees and sides, were over-salted, distracted from otherwise quality and well-prepared food.
