the wait staff were friendly. however, our salads and appetizer showed up at the same time. then, before we were done with those, the main course showed up. felt rushed. food was slightly cool. taste was good. Would be a 5 if not for the previous comments.

Nantucket Grill is a nice place but I found the food, food presentation, waitstaff, and atmosphere normal, average expectations from a mid-level restaurant. I would return but there are better options. Their deserts were very good and above average.

During my trip to North Carolina, I was told by a local downtown that I absolutely needed to try the cake at Nantucket Grill, and I’m so glad I did! Their cake selection is incredible, with so many delicious-looking options that it was hard to choose. I ended up going with the coconut vanilla cake, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The cake was light, fluffy, and perfectly moist, while the frosting had just the right amount of sweetness. It’s honestly some of the best cake I’ve had in a long time.
While I didn’t get a chance to try the food on this visit, I would come back just for the desserts alone. The quality and flavor of the cake were top-notch, and I can see why this place is considered a local staple.
If you’re in the area and have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend stopping by Nantucket Grill for their desserts. Based on my experience with the cake, I’m sure their food is also excellent. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in North Carolina Chapel Hill area.

The food was delicious!! I had the ribeye, and it was so good and tender! The appetizers were good. The service was good, especially for a busy Saturday night. If you don't do anything else, get the dessert!!

Food was great. Service was great.Just don't expect any ambiance. All their extra supplies such as coffee cups, ketchup,etc were stored on open shelving. Outdoor seating was large so if you want to impress your date, sit outside.
Okay the food here is AMAZING!! Ate here once with the family and one of the few places I regularly order seafood from via DoorDash, because it's consistently fresh, lightly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and just friggin' DELICIOUS!! Always get the scallop kebob with shrimp and veggies, and will sometimes splurge on a slice of their strawberry cake, which is PHENOMENAL (get a cake for my birthday every year). I keep meaning to take a picture when I order delivery, but one, I'm generally starving by the time my food arrives, and two, half way done by the time I even think to take a picture. Highly recommend this restaurant, both via DoorDash and for sit down.
Another great time here. The appetizers were good. I took my family from Washington DC and they enjoyed it especially the cake. We ate outside which I ordinarily don't do but I guess it have to try something different at lease once in your life.
