I've been here many times, no longer live in the area. My wife and I had our first date here in 2012, revisited last night (2025) and the place was still excellent. For lunch I'd usually get a burger and fries (excellent fries), or the lobster bisque or clam chowder soups (both fantastic). I love Nantucket Grill. Eat there often.
When my family comes to town its there go to restaurant for seafood.
I placed a food order last night. While the hamburger was delicious as always the pumpkin cheesecake was terrible. It was so dry and was unable to take more then 2 bites.
I ended up throwing it away.
I have tried just about every dessert Nantucket offers and that was the first time i experienced a terrible dessert.

Never ate there but the strawberry shortcake NEVER disappoints. I have introduced plenty of people here that are all returning customers if only for the cake. OUTSTANDING!!! The owner even “loaned” me a piece of cake one day, they were not open for business yet and I was in area and door was open. He gave it to me and trusted me to come pay later. I did but it was a week or two. Brought tears to my eyes.
