Food mediocre and wait times long time for food. Staff will prioritize phone and take pick up orders and service pickup orders before in person customers. Process needs to be improved. Will not be coming back.

We stay at the hotel across the street often and we’ve had decent meals here a couple of times in the past. But this past week it was awful. The chicken kabob was very dry and the beef kabob was so tough we couldn’t even chew it. My dog couldn’t even chew it. The salad was witty and just dripping with oil…and didn’t even have all the ingredients as described on the menu.

Unfortunately, we ordered to go. We should’ve taken it back and demanded a refund. I don’t think I’ll go back…

Brought in some friends from out of town and they all loved it. While we were there, we were treated to a couple of new dishes they are trying out - a harvest salad and a lentil and cabbage soup, both delicious. Support this great downtown business!

Deshawn was very helpful with navigating me through the menu and was very pleasant with my family and the other employees while we were there. We will definitely be back due to his help and hospitality

Do not go there for dinner. The food has clearly been sitting out and most things are out of stock. The pita wasn't even fresh and that's a real insult to the Neomonde tradition!!! My Arab American self is not coming back

Thank you for the chicken on a stick for only $4. Any other place would charge like $10.

I used to love this place! I ordered what was called a chicken shawarma but it was nothing like any chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. The ckn had a weird taste and it was just bad. So disappointed. Don’t recommend.

Gosh, I used to love this place. The food was always fresh and tasty and the service friendly. What happened? Stopped in here after the No King's protest --it was pretty empty which surprised me given that there were so many people around. Sullen service, workers talking to each other and not making eye contact or answering customer questions. The food was really not good. The chicken had a weird taste and the feeling was that most of it had been sitting in trays for a few days. Sad.

Ridiculous to go here for lunch and they don’t have hummus???
What’s wrong with this place, went there Monday 10/13 brought a guest from out of town and there was no hummus that day.
It was the second restaurant in Durham with no hummus that day. Is there a shortage in Durham. It’s like going to a pancake house with no syrupz

Food was great! The Pita Platter is the best bang for your buck. Comes with a sandwich, 2 sides, and a baklava!

Generally I like this place but after waiting almost 2 hours for an online order to suddenly have them cancel it right before they close and hang up the phone/stop answering before anyone said anything makes me not want to go there anymore. I feel like I order here once a week and this a bummer. Durham needs more Mediterranean food options

Food was very good, reasonably priced. Service was good...patient staff considering we were not familiar with the menu choices and options. I liked some things better than others but you only know that by trying things.

Only do take out. If you want to be treated like your meal doesn't matter, go ahead and done there. They are so focused on their take out orders you can't get you meal in a timely manner (15 minutes for 2 lamb kabobs for me), your other food will sit on a plate that long because they serve the cold foods immediately, and no one will be at the register to even give you a bathroom key. I saw one customer get so mad at there not being someone at the register for 5 minutes that he went behind the bar and grabbed a cup himself. Avoid. Neononde: improve your focus to costumers that take the time to come in, hoping to enjoy a nice lunch.

The food here is SO good, but they can’t pack a takeout order to save their lives. More than once we have ended up with multiple things missing, including entrees. Highly recommend if you’re dining in and can quality control that you’re getting all your items.

My pita pocket of lamb and beef shawarma lacked both the lemon tahini and Lebanese pickles. I had to wait a long time for my medium side dish of quinoa tabouli. my friend waited almost 30 min and found out her ticket was erased. When they finally gave her the order, the rice was terribly undercooked. We saw the people around us all were waiting for their orders and when they came with food, many orders were done wrong.
