I love Nolia! As a caffeine addict, I've tried basically every coffee shop within a 15 mile radius. The coffee at Nolia is rich and flavorful without being acidic or bitter. I especially love the Ice Ice Baby, their iced pourover coffee with a dash of vanilla. The icing on the cake is how friendly the owners and staff are. Their attitudes akways brighten my day! It's a pleasure to visit through and through.
I love this place. The space itself is amazing, even when I go without my kids, but really, it's great to have a place where I feel totally welcome with my small children. Since the pandemic and they are doing curbside pickup, one nice thing I noticed is that, since they always added the cream and sugar to my drinks they know exactly how I like my coffee. Other coffee shops I frequent, suddenly are adding cream and sugar for me and I can not figure out how to communicate directly enough to get the proportions I actually want. But Nolia, they always get it exactly right.
Great coffee and they have a good set up for ordering online and getting your order with minimal contact. Workers were wearing masks the entire time. A great local minority owned family business!
Great drinks with friendly service. Offering curbside pickup during covid.
Fell in love with the coffee and mission immediately. I look forward to supporting such an influential and important local business!!
Ordered coffee online and Justin was very helpful in getting us our coffee beans. Great spot in Durham for coffee!
The owners are the nicest people ever! Coffee is great and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and I feel comfortable with my three girls there. My nervous toddler warmed up to the space very quickly!I wish there were more family centric spaces like this in the triangle area! I hope others take note that this is the way to do it! ?
Nice stop for some fresh, Zambian coffee (seriously whaaa). Family friendly, and you are likely to see a bunch of children at all times. Modest space.
Nolia is the perfect coffee shop for the minimalist -- simple menu, stunning design details, and a beautiful philosophy: a cafe should hold its community. Its full name is Nolia: coffee + family, and you find out why the minute you step inside. It boasts a beautiful play area that can accommodate several children and parents for a playdate or just a sweet spontaneous hot chocolate. Check out the kid-height kid's menu! This place goes beyond child friendly, it celebrates family and connection. The owners Natalie and Justin are warm & friendly and passionate about their place.
Cozy, warm, cool vibes, cool music, for the whole family, backyard with cute chickens, feels like home.

An amazing place where great coffee meets parents with little ones. If you want a place to enjoy great coffee ant have to worry about what to do with your little ones while you enjoy coffee or a quick read, this is a great place to check out!
Great spot for families and friends! The coffee is great too! I like the feel of the environment. They have a chicken coop and a place for children to play outside. Just delightful and comfy. I had a cup coffee and some hibiscus tea.
I LOVE Nolia. Whenever I leave, I feel like I'm leaving a friend's house. Saying goodbye to the staff because they have established that they care, not just as a courtesy. This is on top of them having a place where my daughter can crawl around and play without me having to worry she's bothering other customers. They have a diaper changing station and a diap
Incredible service, a perfect cup of tea for me and coffee for my partner, and Justin is so cool and friendly. The space is amazingly black and family oriented, with chickens and plenty of space and a beautiful play space for littles. What a lovely, lovely place.
