I love Nolia! As a caffeine addict, I've tried basically every coffee shop within a 15 mile radius. The coffee at Nolia is rich and flavorful without being acidic or bitter. I especially love the Ice Ice Baby, their iced pourover coffee with a dash of vanilla. The icing on the cake is how friendly the owners and staff are. Their attitudes akways brighten my day! It's a pleasure to visit through and through.

I love this place. The space itself is amazing, even when I go without my kids, but really, it's great to have a place where I feel totally welcome with my small children. Since the pandemic and they are doing curbside pickup, one nice thing I noticed is that, since they always added the cream and sugar to my drinks they know exactly how I like my coffee. Other coffee shops I frequent, suddenly are adding cream and sugar for me and I can not figure out how to communicate directly enough to get the proportions I actually want. But Nolia, they always get it exactly right.

This is my new go-to coffee spot here in Durham!! We stopped by the day we moved in right when they were about to close, but they were kind enough to still offer to make us some coffee simply because "they love making coffee!"A few days later, we stopped by again. They're doing curbside pickup where you just text a number and they'll bring it out - love their commitment to our safety. The owners/staff is super kind and friendly. Their coffee is SO GOOD, so everything else is just a cherry on top. Will definitely be frequenting this place often :)

The owners are the nicest people ever! Coffee is great and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and I feel comfortable with my three girls there. My nervous toddler warmed up to the space very quickly!I wish there were more family centric spaces like this in the triangle area! I hope others take note that this is the way to do it! ?

Arrived in Durham for a day of family fun and started off at a coffee shop a friend had recommended named Nolia Family + Coffee. It was Saturday morning and they had storytime going on with parents/kids all listening to a book being read. Nolia, is a unique child centric coffee shop where the one of the owners I met named Justin said "kids here are not just tolerated, they are celebrated!" This was evident from the moment we walked in this cute minimalist space. The storyteller was on one side with kids sitting on the floor and having a great time. Beautiful vibes were everywhere with a feeling of community and inclusion. They have small selections of coffee and tea and some good pastries to boot. We had a apple pastry and a nice coffee and a kids hot cocoa to go. We will be back!
