It’s the first time back post-pandemic and it’s not the same bubbly place. The food has been paired down, portions seem smaller and was underwhelmed. I also agree the focus seems to be on catering and not the cafe atmosphere it used to have.

This isn’t the Nosh we all remember prepandemic. The huge pancakes are no longer available. They are really small. The sausage taste like a McDonald’s patty. So disappointing. Bring the old Nosh

I decided to take my husband to lunch on his break, and he chose Nosh. When we entered noone greeted us, or even said hello. Once we figured out the ordering process, we were met with a $40.00 tab that was not overwhelming at first. We ordered the paulies pimento sandwhich, and the boo blt, a coffee, and pelligrino. The coffee was brought to the table without cream and sugar despite me requesting it when ordered. The sandwhiches arrived and I was very underwhelmed. I literally had one slice of bacon on the entire sandwhich. And what was supposed to be pimento cheese seemed more like cheddar cheese with a few pieces of pimento for flavor. There was more bread than anything. Once we finished I asked if refills were available for the coffee and she rudely shook her head. Barely acknowledging me. I donot recommend dining here as the service sets the tone and if an establishment cannot respect me as a paying customer than I will gladly take my services elsewhere.

I used to love Nosh but now it feels less like a restaurant and more like a staging area for takeout orders. The menu is much smaller than I remember and the folks working are doing their best, but it is obvious they need more help. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day? What happened to the lovely breakfast and lunch place?Kid-friendliness: This has really gone downhill.

We went in this morning and we're hungry as heck. We didn't realize that they opened at 10 but the door was unlocked. The lady in there was so nice and served us an hour and a half before they opened. My mom had the tomato and cheese biscuit with bacon and I had a chicken egg and cheese biscuit. They were both delicious. Highly recommend (after they open... whoops)!

Found on a whim for a car drop off. Web site advertised mimosas among other items. Stopped there to have breakfast and a mimosa. Was directed to a pile of breakfast/lunch menus to order. There were 3 different types of breakfast menus.(ok).I order breakfast and a mimosa. Was told that they don’t have any. I stated what was on the site and she said, that was old and the due to Covid ( didn’t know that was still a thing)they had just reopened . Service eh. False advertisement eh. Food was good but it was breakfast.

This was catered for a group and it had a good assortment of sandwiches and wraps which were really good. The cookies and brownies were also delicious. Would go again.

Great food, clean facilities, friendly staff. I just took one star off because they forgot to bring us one of our appetizers, and we only realized that after we left.Vegetarian options: All our dishes were vegan.

This cute little place has the best turkey blt. Marble rye bread, fresh turkey and crispy bacon. Nice little break while visiting Durham.

Nothing fancy. Order at counter and brought to table. Friendly and efficient staff. Real plates and flatware. Always a plus. Sandwiches (egg salad and chicken salad) were very good. Vegetable slaw was just okay. Would not order again. Pasta salad reportedly was really good.

Located next to Duke Hospital my mother thought after a long day of appointments that we would enjoy this spot. You walk in and it a funky vibe (I say that in a good way). The decor is colorful and funny. The first thing I noticed was a picture of my favorite basketball player and teenage crush Grant Hill - so it's already a win. My mother had breakfast last time but we missed breakfast and had lunch instead. We ordered the Mallard's Chicken sandwich, Spritzer sandwich and mom got a Chai Tea. So we were very hungry and ate everything but honestly the quality was top notch and ingredients were fresh and tasty. The chicken sandwich had a lovely seasoned chicken breast and a good bun. The star though was the homemade chips Mom said the Spritzer was season nicely and she is a sucker for toasted bread. She didn't even let me try so I know it was good. Mom got the macaroni salad which we both thought lacked flavor. A good experience and tasty food. I wouldn't say anything was crazy unique but good fresh ingredients, funky decor, and tasty food is all good.

The BEC is tasty. IMO best biscuit (Cathead) ? that I’ve tasted. ❤️

Very high standard with the inhouse-cured corned beef in the Spritzer reuben the star for me. Friendly, efficient service, too.

Cool vintage charm. Soups were excellent today. Tuna fish sandwich was overly salty and disappointing.
