I used to eat here quite a bit however, they recently hired this extremely rude middle aged Hispanic woman that makes the overall experience unpleasant (She is not to be confused with the younger Hispanic woman as she is extremely nice). Approximately 1 week ago, I watched her tell a customer to "Shut Up!" which almost lead to a fight inside of the restaurant. The majority of Ole NC BBQ's customers are African American so I am definitely not in agreement with hiring people that disrepsect the same group that supports this business regularly. Unfortunately, I can't support this business while she is employed there.

customer service TERRIBLE (young Hispanic lady), baked chicken half cooked and they try to sell food sitting when any real cool/restaurant manager would make sure food is always fresh. One of the owners (Black Guy) can be nasty also with his attitude as if they are doing you a favour to serve you.

If you're looking for a quick lunch grab and go option in North Durham, then this is your place. I wouldn't say anything stood out to me specifically, but the food was average and it was just what I needed to satisfy my quick BBQ craving.

They should get a zero no stars. Their food was incredibly too spicy and when I explained that it was too spicy for me, I was told too bad pick something else out. They had nothing that I wanted. They refused to give my money back. So they got my food back and my money. Hope you like red pepper!!!!!!

Unprofessional. I couldn’t even ask simple questions. I never go here cause of past experiences so i decided to gove it another try. Lady had a attityde for no reason talking about she stressed out. All i asked was where were the drinks cause I asked for one without knowing their drank machine didnt work. Why would you not tell someone that since you so stressed out. Then yall wonder why no one support small businesses. Attitude and presentation is everything

The food is very appealing. The two Black ladies that work there - the elderly cashier is too defensive and displays a bad attitude. She does not know how to talk to people. The short dark skinned lady who serves the food has no personality. when you tell her thank you she leaves a bad taste your mouth because she does not respond. Bad attitudes affect businesses and their outcomes. Perhaps the owner does not pay the workers enough, This is 2023. Be careful as to how long food sits under lights for hours. I had meatloaf, cabbage and yams after 7:30 PM and the day after my stomach was so upset and I kept belching throughout the day. Food poisoning is a serious issue. We as customers do not know what goes behind the scenes - perhaps the owner has a bad attitude and that spreads towards

General atmosphere. Associates could be a little more professional. When customer says thank you first something is terribly wrong. There is no response by a couple of staff members. The collar greens could use a little shine and some flsvoring epecially if served by canned vegeatables. Everything including price increase need to be constantly updated...
