I love the Mabel, which is a honey lavender latte, It is so good. BUT today I tried the orange Shortie (I cannot remember what they named it exactly) but it is absolutely one of the best coffee drinks that I’ve ever had in my life. The orange flavor mixed with the pink Himalayan sea salt it’s absolutely divine. If I could, I would drink it every single day. I’ve been wanting to try the Aphrodite, but it’s always sold out. Maybe one day!

I dream of Omie’s specialty drinks…no seriously. My friend once drove from Durham to Asheville with the Mabel in a thermos so it was hot and ready for me, THAT is how much I adore it. Don’t get me started with the seasonal menu. I’ve only visited in person a time or two, but the baristas have always been so warm and friendly. You can tell Omie’s takes pride in their coffee, their community, and the way they care about their customers. All the love back to you, Omie’s ❤️

Omie’s is my favorite coffee shop to go to in Durham !! All of the staff are super friendly, their drinks are phenomenal and they always have great pastry options. My go-to drink is an iced “mabel”, which is genuinely the BEST honey lavender latte you’ll EVER get in the Triangle! They also have super creative seasonal drink offerings that are worth trying out ?Omie’s also uses locally sourced ingredients, roast their own coffee and are super involved in their community plenty of parking, too. Go check them out!

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in the area and I’ll tell you why. 1) The staff are always genuinely kind and lovely. 2) The shop has GREAT natural light and the temperature inside is always comfortable. 3) Their specialty drinks always hit the spot and are fairly priced. They also change it up with always providing the classics but having seasonal drinks that change monthly 4) It is a truly welcoming environment and they stand up for global and local causes.

Drip coffee was OK. not great; not terrible. I did not try any espresso drinks or food. It was cold inside with very little natural lighting. Bring your own thermos because your drink will get cold quickly. The building is not very accessible for anyone with mobility needs. I really don’t like florescent lighting. Owner laughed at my original review. I won’t be back.

From the moment we stepped into Omie’s Coffee Shop in Durham, NC, I knew I was in for a treat. This cafe exudes a warm and welcoming ambiance that makes you want to stay a while. The latte with oat milk Dana ordered was nothing short of fantastic, perfectly brewed with a rich flavor that coffee lovers will appreciate. My cappuccino was nothing less than perfect. It’s clear that Omie’s pays close attention to the quality of their offerings, as the bakery goods, including an exceptionally good cinnamon roll, seemed to be locally sourced or made in-house. The prices were also fantastic, adding to the overall positive experience. What sets Omie’s apart, though, is its community connection. The cafe has a palpable focus on being community-centric, which is both refreshing and admirable. The owner, Izabella, was the embodiment of this spirit - very nice and attentively focused on our needs, enhancing the overall visit.Initially, I reserved 5 stars for only the “OMG” level cafes, but reflecting on my experience, Omie’s truly deserves the full five stars. It’s a gem in Durham that serves not just great coffee and bakery items but also a sense of community and warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a place that feels like home.

Great coffee shop. They have a wonderful space for sitting and enjoying your coffee. I have had countless conversations here. They also have wonderful seasonal menus. Not the biggest selection of pastries, so get there early!

I’ve been to Omie’s a bunch, but I don’t live close enough to be a regular (wish I did!)They have a rotating seasonal menu with some fun drinks, recently there was an eggnog latte and brown butter latte. The staff is always friendly, and they take care to make the drinks well.A great coffee shop, that takes pride in their beverages.
