This is definitely a cool spot. They have decently priced sandwiches that are properly good. You won't be disappointed getting food here. $20 tax and tip include for a drink and a decent sandwich.

I stopped by Parker & Otis yesterday about 25 minutes before closing and didn’t realize they stop making sandwiches at 4:00. I was honestly crushed!
The man behind the counter was incredibly kind and apologetic. He told me about a few other options and mentioned there was one sandwich left in the case. I grabbed it—and it was excellent!
I wish I had asked his name. He had brown hair and a beard and was wearing a green and black shirt. Whoever he is, he was absolutely the best. Customer service like that really makes a difference.
Great food and great people—I’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love to stop in, shop and get a delicious coffee

They were great when they were in the old district the tobacco warehouse district. They were really good. Look at their sandwiches now though yesterday I got a sandwich a BLT would you believe they forgot the bacon and this is the lettuce they put on the sandwich.
A great place to stop while in downtown Durham to find a special gift or the household item you didn't know you needed. The shop is filled with a collection of candles, food, puzzles, giftware, cocktail ware, and candy that you likely have not seen in other shops.

The sandwich options here are a good amount. Sandwiches are good. Fresh vegetables and the sandwich is not dry. Coffee is decent. No complaints (maybe a little overpriced for a to-go style place). Hot chocolate is bad. Too milky and/or runny.

the best sandwiches in the triangle, hands down. I love no. 11 (egg salad) and no. 22 (turkey and havarti - pictured).
they are absolute whoppers and always so fresh and so tasty. the staff are all very lovely and even during the lunch rush the sandwiches are quick to come out.
Numerous customers standing around waiting for their order, complaining how long they've been waiting. I ordered online, still wasn't ready 40 minutes later

I love this place, super cute on the inside, great food, and excellent customer service!. They have more than food here, they have books, cards, toys, clothing, personal care, and so much more!

Sandwiches are PACKED!!!
My go-to place for sandwiches & gifts. The staff are so nice and the tuna melt is my favorite sandwich in Durham! They have amazing taste and such great books, gifts etc - and they always have jellycat stuffed animals in stock :)
The shrimp BLT was amazing and I asked to add pimento cheese to the havarti and it reached another level. Gotta come back for more.
Their cheddar biscuits are spectacular! If they offered sausage as a protein option for their breakfast sandwiches this would be the perfect place!
