We went in looking for coffee and some kind of breakfast. We will not go again.The breakfast sandwich had egg, bacon, all good, and some kind of hot spicy thing that we hated on a hamburger role. There did not appear to be much else for a breakfast type. Beyond that, the coffee was terrible (TERRIBLE). we each took one sip and left the rest. It tasted as if they had left dishwasher residue in the pots.

I've been 4 times now and every time the waffles were charred so hard it was inedible... The last time I got coffee it was also sour and when I asked for extra syrup willing to pay the extra cost I was told by the man working it's not possible..??? I will say they do play good music but as I was sitting waiting for my food I noticed over a handful of dead flies in the fridge... it was repulsive. I also noticed how the trash was overflowing into the sugar packets. I will never return here. Very unorganized and unsanitary. Also, if you touch food please wear gloves. The same man who said he couldn't add more syrup to my drink was what looked like rolling some kind of dough with no gloves.... Disgusting.

Update (1/4/24 6pm!): Manager replied not more than 2 hours later saying he would refund and check their cold brew. Updating the review to 5 stars for the spectacular management! I will definitely give this coffee shop another try1/4/24 5pm: Man did I want to love this coffee shop! I’m new to the area and have always loved the flavor of local coffee shops over a Starbucks coffee. Especially nowadays. I ordered the oatmeal cream pie cold brew. Despite my cold brew being over filled to the point coffee was all over the lid (before the straw was even put in) there wasn’t much flavor! Also i wasn’t a huge fan of the cold brew- the coffee tasted like it was burnt. I’m not a huge fan of sweet drinks but this drink just tasted like cold brew. I was looking for at least some sweetness.By the way.. I had a baby on my waist.. which the barista acknowledged.. overfilling my drink made me spill coffee all down the middle of my shirt + got all in the charger port of my phone. I don’t know what karma i did to deserve that but man did that barista serve me it. Anyways I’m off to find another small business coffee place now :,)

I went into People's Coffee for the first time this week, as a treat to myself to start the day. I could not have chosen a better place to sit and have a quiet breakfast!Atmosphere was fantastic. There was a steady flow of customers, but the noise level stayed pleasantly low. I could hear the hum of the coffee machines and fridge unit from my seat, and the speakers nearby were playing music at a really nice volume. It didn't overpower the ambient conversation at all. The music was a good blend of pop/rock/hip hop that I hadn't heard before, which is nice, too.I was excited about the menu as I'd heard lots of good things! I had the BFF, which is a smashed waffle breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. First bite and I knew immediately that it was one of the best things I have ever eaten. NO JOKE!!! It wasn't greasy, and I didn't have to wipe my hands when eating it. The flavors were SO good, and it was just bacon eggs and cheddar?? What? HOW?I got a double shot hot latte with brown sugar syrup I think, and it was a little frothy on top and so smooth.I also grabbed a few of the dessert waffles to go to bring home for my family, the sinful swirl and chocolate chip ones, and they were also absolutely fantastic. The chocolate chip waffle did NOT skip out on the chocolate. It was a mess and I loved it.The service was also SO good, the baristas were super friendly, especially Brittany, who gave me good recommendations and happily re-heated my coffee— it did cost $4 but the food was so good I was happy to pay.I left with a pouch of People's Coffee to brew at home, and guess what? It's delicious.Best breakfast place I've ever been. 10/10. I love you.

It's freezing in here. Put your heat on!Also, why are you BLASTING music in full volume? Look at your customers, they're trying to either work or have a conversation. Why are you trying to be a nightclub? It's 10 am for pete's sake.Also, please offer skim/nonfat milk.Oat milk is environmentally unfriendly as it takes so much water to make, and not everyone can drink almond milk!

Walked in, no greeting. Music blaring. The girl at the register was on the phone and completely confused so she had to get another employee to take the phone and still didn't greet me. I ordered. Insanely expensive. Over $16 for avocado toast and plain coffee and THEN she spins the iPad around for a TIP. AT THE COUNTER WHERE SHE DIDNT EVEN GREET ME. At this point, I'm so frustrated I can't see straight and should've left but I was hungry so I stayed and I tried to pay with CASH which apparently is a no-no and she said they ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE IT!! Never, will I ever return to this place.OH!!! And the menu said all breakfast items are served with fresh fruit and they gave me a salad for BREAKFAST!!!
