People’s has quickly become our go to for breakfast and coffee/tea. All of the breakfast options we’ve tried have been great- love the waffle sandwiches, breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and the grab and go yogurt parfaits. Also love that they have fun rotating seasonal drinks. Currently loving the iced dragonfruit matcha I wish they would keep it on the menu permanently!!

Cappuccino is not great, food and drinks are served in disposable cups and plates even when dining in, and breakfast is not all day contrary to their sign outside. Would like more vegan or non-dairy options. However the restaurant is beautiful and the waffles are delicious!

Nice coffee shop in the Southpoint area. Love the decor and ambiance especially the outdoor seating. Plenty of seating and friendly staff that brings your order to your table. I had the cereal mini waffle and the seasonal pumpkin spice coffee. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Little coffee shop that has a nice patio seating in front. It's connected to the business next door in the back (Town Hall Burger & Beer Durham) which it shares a bathroom with. I'm not a big coffee fan so I was here for the smash waffles. They are incredible and worth the visit! I got the savory variety with bacon egg and cheese and I would absolutely return. The cookies and cream was tasty too.

I was happy to find out they serve Black & White coffee! I tried the breakfast bun on my most recent visit, and it was ok - it was nice and flaky but had this sourdough taste to it that I didn't think went well with the sugar / cinnamon. The space is nice and clean, and there was overflow seating next door at Town Hall Burger, which was nice and quiet in the morning. There is ample outdoor seating as well. The prices aren't cheap, but I enjoyed my coffee here.

I really enjoyed this coffee shop. They offer Black and White Coffee Roasters as their main coffee source, which is one of my favorite roasters period. I typically get a pour over at coffee shops (when offered) as I love the specialty coffee scene, and this place did it right with great coffee extraction. I also tried their breakfast burrito which was tasty and had a little kick. All in all, I am glad I tried this place and I look forward to going back again when I am in the area!

Very over priced for what it is. I've been here twice, first time I wasn't too happy with it but I thought I'd give it another try. 3 Substitute places that are better, better quality, environment etc! - care driade - the poplar cafe - grey squirrel :) Here is why: Pros: -They have great ice cubes that won't melt your lattes espresso, -Their waffles are decent too for what they are, good quick sandwich. -They homemade their syrups which taste good and it's nice not o see Torin syrups Cons: I just paid more for a coffee than I did for my coffee I used to get in Malibu!!! spend $8-10 there and here I spent $11.50 for a medium with extra shot. -Who the flying heck charges $1.50 for extra shot and $8 for a medium latte. - Their drinks are way too milky and sweet for you NOT to get a shot so you're forced into getting an extra one. - The staff also wouldn't put a splash of oatmilk into my fiancés cold brew instead of standard cream and said it had to be whole milk for some reason. Uh why? They put oatmilk in my latte so it's not like they didn't have it - the menu is confusing it lists lattes as $6 but doesn't say oz or size and doesn't give the price for larger, so if you ask for $6 it'll be 12oz and if you ask for a 16oz it'll be $2 more, so $8

I was thoroughly impressed with the breakfast burrito. The seasonings and flavor were pretty solid (they don't skimp on spice). Loved the cold brew too and will be back for waffles next time!

It's fine. The coffee is ok and the pastry selection is small. I ordered the smash waffles, one OG and two plain. It was aggressively sweet and very undercooked. Overall I'm not impressed.Parking: Easy parking.

Cute place but just way too expensive. Coffee drinks come in two sizes here, small and large. That's 12oz and 16oz, or tall and grande in Starbucks terms. Menu shows prices for a small size. I ordered "large" (which really is a medium) pecan pie latte, and the upcharge for a "large" size, which is just extra 4 ounces of the drink, was whopping TWO dollars. They were out of oatmilk, but that would have cost another 50 cents, bringing a price of one medium size drink to $8.50. I'm sorry, that's just way too much even for post-covid inflated reality. I liked my coffee, it was enjoyable and had just a touch of sweetness yet familiar notes of pecan pie flavor. But was it worth it? Absolutely not.

Came here on a random Friday morning. I ordered a lavender latte and it was delicious!

First visit, I had the Rishi Chai Latte. It was okay. The cookie and blueberry muffin we ordered was subpar. The muffin was super dry. Didn't even finish it. The cold brew that my husband had was decent and the waffle he had was good. Overall experience was just okay. Not sure if I'll return to see if my experience improves.

Delicious coffee and the waffles are awesome! The people are super nice and helpful. The outdoor seating is also nice to have. What else can you ask for? Enjoy.

Count on People's Coffee to provide great coffee and breakfast to get your day started or to keep it going. They are connected to Town Hall Burger, so check them out too. The big winners are their smashed waffle sandwiches. Think a bagel sandwich with waffles as the bun halves. I get them every time I come. They have your coffee shop staples, so you won't be without your favorite brew. They have limited indoor seating but ample outdoor seating in the parking lot. This is a great place to meet friends, grind out some work, or take a break from the constant busy.
