I am not a fan of the Philly Steak Factory. I had gone many times in the past, but there is apparently new ownership. The Philly sub was not the same quality as before - runny, finely chopped meat - and the new owner is not as friendly or accomodating, no thank yous, off-putting. On a positive note, the shop seemed very clean, improved from before, but overall same, tired/old-school ambiance. But I am focused primarily on food quality, which is not strong here. You can get a better product at Penn Station and others.

wow oh wow. I absolutely LOVE this philly steak factory. Many may call me old-fashioned, but I’m always ready to grub on a juicy cheesesteak. As a philly enthusiast, I’ve tried almost all in the triangle and I can confidently say this is the best by far. The bread is crispy and light, the chicken is perfectly seasoned, and the sandwich is so juicy it’s simply perfect. I’ve been coming for over 5 years, and I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon! I 100% recommend the kids cheese triangles as well, so simple yet so delicious. If you’re on the fence, I say definitely give this a shot. It’s worth it!

I went there craving Philly sub after 2 yrs. Need another cook. Everything tasted burnt. I chose the place because of the rating but the wrong cook. Couldn’t finish my foot long because of the burnt taste. It was empty so he had the time to make it better. So disappointing.

I think this business has been sold. The previous owner provided awesome food. My philly cheese steak sandwich I ordered the same as always was nasty. The meat was sub-par, there was no yellow mustard which I ordered, no extra onions...it was nothing like what they previously sold. They no longer sell baklava either. I threw away $20 that I won't do again.

My favorite place to go for a quality Philly steak around here. My girlfriend and I go every time we go to that side of Durham. Wonder flavor, good meats, fresh veggies and bread. The price is good as well! Service is always awesome and fast. If you haven’t been already go.

This was once my go to stop in Durham. I recently discovered that there are new owners.. It’s not terrible. BUT it’s no where near the Philly that the previous owner would make. The food is definitely different! Best of luck to the new owner.

1st time trying this establishment as I've tried most places on my break. I'm not a fan. I was like Yippy a Gyro and NO it wasn't. Least not one a Greek is gonna appreciate. The meat was chopped ? onion?. The ? French Fries were a nice crinkle style and well fried. The atmosphere was typical sandwich ? shoppe and nothing out of the ordinary. The service was absolutely Top Notch tho and the gentleman was friendly and speedy. Thanks but No thanks, once and done ✅

I visited on a chilling rainy day, amd the food hit the spot. I had a small fry and the 12 in Philly Steak with the works. All in all the food was good. I thought that Philly might need a little more spice or salt. I added some of seasoning from the fries (probably salt, red cheyenne pepper mix) and little bit of table salt it was great. Next time I will not get the lettuce with the Philly but I will be back. One thing I would love to see the option to add some jalapeños to the Philly to spice it up. Otherwise a good no frills place.

Probably the worst sub in the world. I ordered a Ruben and got sick. These people didn't put any sauerkraut or anything on mu Ruben. Plus they use old sub rolls. Trust me other restaurants are a million times better.
