The bartender (Kyle) was amazing!!! He made the best drink suggestions. Awesome atmosphere with spirited away playing over two televisions and arcade games (with some amazing pinball machines). Place seems very inclusive and I didn't feel uncomfortable. Thank you for an excellent night! I had the Frogger and YES it was great!

The service was friendly! The drinks were great and we had a lot of fun playing all the games.

Our orders: sake bomb, granny's apple pie. Hidden in the basement of a building. They have pinballs, racing, NBA, shooting, pac man, Tetris etc. Granny's apple pie was amazing - a spiked apple pie milkshake. Addicting yet dangerous as the alcohol taste is minimal, bartender told me there actually was 2oz in there. Perfect fall cocktail and honestly just a fun drink to sip on. Proof of vaccination required upon entry. Very laid back barcade, small but intimate.

We accidentally stumbled upon this arcade late-Friday night after doing some bar hopping. It doesn't seem much but quite a cool place once you go inside. It's a nice intimate bar and not too loud. At the moment, they are requiring vaccination proof to buy drinks at the bar. The rule was just implemented so they were cool with my group not having our cards with us. The drink price aren't bad but can add up after a few drinks. I walked by a few days later and they now have a sign at the entrance. Overall, the arcade was more like decor and background noise, we didn't care much for it. The bathrooms are a bit hidden in the back, through a door. You would never guess that it was there.

It's back! Everyone! It's BACK! GO! DRINK! PLAY! PIZZA PHONE! ICE COLD BEER! 80S MOVIES! WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS JUST GO!In all seriousness, this is my favorite bar in Durham. Covid kept it down but it came back strong. FREE PLAY ON ALL GAMES is happening now to celebrate the re-opening!Awesome staff, great beer selection, great old school games, no nonsense. Get out there and support Quarter Horse!

We are in Durham for a nearby event and wanted to spend our first night downtown and Quarter Horse was the first bar that caught my eye. I'm so glad we came. It's a fun environment and our bartender, Lauren, was great! Definitely would love to come back again!

This is open again. We had a great night here recently. What a fun venue. Plenty of Pinball and video games, good beer and cocktails. A great please to kill a few hours with friends.

Unfortunately planned my wife’s bday celebration with an overnight stay in Durham, including dinner and a visit to QH. Although Google said Open, bar was closed on a Sunday night at 9. Be careful, call before you go!

Came here for a date a couple of weeks ago, they wernt open. I checked the facebook and messaged them but no reply until today. I really hope they update their customers soon. But was so sad when me and my date got to the place and it said open online but they were closed. Seems like it would have been a great time there. Just hope they open up soon .

A perfect bar. Nostalgic, full of colorful neon and LEDs, always a classic sci-fi or action movie playing on the TV, a solid beer selection, and best of all: they have a Medieval Madness machine. This place is a gem.

First the bar tenders are awesome and superfriendly! Second, this is a great place to have some good conversations and also play arcade games while you drink. They have a free game night but I forget which one that it is. This is a much more low-key and expensive experience compared to box car
