The ambience is amazing, coupled with great service, drinks, and food. The spiked hot cider was really good and unique chicken crispers! Will be back definitely!

Met up with colleagues after work. Great customer service (order at bar) and delicious food. I had the winter squash, tuna dip, and an apple cider. Tasted others' chicken tenders and fried pickles, all very tasty.
Disappointed despite the hype. This place came highly recommended, but we left feeling let down. It’s a seat-yourself, order-at-the-bar establishment, but the experience was far from smooth. The tables were dirty, and our seats were wet (was it beer, water, or something worse?). The line to order was chaotic, with people forming their own lines, and the food arrival was just as disorganized. Some of us finished our meals before others even received theirs. Thankfully, we ordered nachos as a starter, which helped hold us over.
Two of us ordered the Birria Dip, and both came out completely different. One barely had any beef, and at $14.50, it was far from worth it. On the positive side, the leftover Thanksgiving sandwich was plentiful and flavorful. The cheeseburger, however, was average, you can skip this one.
Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos of the food because we were too busy enjoying each other’s company.

I miss the food quality in Los Angeles and I gotta say, I just had my favorite burger in Durham. Food was nuanced, fresh and delish, the people were approachable and so personable, the decor was fun, cozy, classy, dark, weird, unexpected, artsy. Outdoor patio was a beautiful winding potted garden of reclaimed materials squeezed between tall buildings of downtown. Overall fantastic vibe. Nothing to improve, for me! Fed me in all the ways <3

Love the place but bar service had a bit to be desired. Guy behind bar with long hair and beard saw our empty glass numerous times and walked by. Guess he didn’t like our looks? Has not been this way in previous visits with other bartenders. Was not crazy busy was my issue as I understand busy…
Tom is an absolute legend. Queeny’s is an incredible place. To sit at this bar is to take your place in the history of good drinks and lively conversation.

The local bar of local bars! The bartenders are friendly, funny, and an all around good time. Elevated bar food at 1am is the gift we all need. Blaze does a great job moving the crowd and connecting with people to keep the atmosphere fun and safe. Queeny’s is a Durham staple.

Great food. Great atmosphere. If you use the word "woke" as a pejorative, you might want to pass. If you don't need to Google the word "pejorative" you'll probably be okay.
