5Stars – Real Deal NY-Style Pizza & More! I was seriously impressed by this spot! Ricky, the owner, is a good pal and runs a great operation. The menu is packed with authentic choices, and everything I tried was on point.
The Supreme Pizza had that perfect thin, crispy crust you expect from a real New York slice — loaded with fresh toppings and bold flavor. The Stromboli cheese steak was golden, cheesy, and packed with goodness. Their pasta was hearty and comforting, and the hot wings hit just the right level of heat and flavor.
You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite. Feels like a true slice of NYC right here. Highly recommend!

It's one of the best places to enjoy the pizza. Tastes delicious and seating areas are good for a large group. I had veg pizza and cheese pizza. Veg was way better.

I haven't been on that side of town in quite some time.. I was waiting for my mother and wanted to step out and grab some lunch I had a taste for pizza and I found this place... I got a personal pan sausage and pepperoni I will be coming back again very soon

This is the best pizza in the area, I’m sorry, but if you’re ordering from Domino’s, Mellow Mushroom, or any franchise pizza, you don’t know what real good pizza is like. These guys know how to make really amazing pizza, makes all order pizza places look bad. I recommend the regular cheese, the margarita, and pepperoni and bacon pizza. Plus these guys are super friendly and know how to treat a customer. Grateful to have them in the area!

This place was awesome. I’m kind of a pizza snob and it seems like it’s hard to get good pizza around here, so I didn’t have high hopes, but it was perfect and brought me right back home to NJ.
I have always found the dough to be rather tasteless, unlike Randy’s. But now they are skimping on the dough and it’s really limp. No amount of reheating can make it crisp except at the edge.

I'm a native New Yorker and a pizza snob. I've had all of the "New York style" pizza in the area. Randy's is good. Devil's is inconsistent. Most others absolutely suck. Ricky's is great. It's the real deal. I keep going back, and it's almost always excellent.
Every now and then they even deliver that oil-dripping-on-the-hand foldable slice -- and it's exactly like being back home. I can't recommend it enough.
Hutchin's Garage is awesome if you want something fancy and fun. But if you want a New York style pizza -- Ricky's is the place.
I love it. I get a pie with anchovies all the time. They don't even deliver to my side of Roxboro but I'll drive to pick this up, because it's the best in Durham. No competition.
