My husband eats at Rudino's in Durham at least once a week. He said their Fiesta salad in great, the small size with chicken is more than enough for lunch. Also the jalapeno poppers are great. Very friendly folks working there. Excellent place for a pizza, sub, and more shop.

Stopped by here for lunch as I had been wanting a good steak grinder for a while. Wish I would have kept driving as the meal was very underwhelming. I thought about the pizza buffet but it doesn't look very appetizing and it's $10 with a drink, which is crazy for only a few pizza choices. I got a 9" steak grinder and fries for $10. Kinda steep but if it's good, it would be worth it. After about 10 minutes, I get my food and start eating the fries first. The seasoning they use on the fries is a Cajun salt/seasoning and it's good. The fries however were horrible. They tasted freezer burned and were not very crispy at all, just that stale taste from being freezer burned. The grinder wasn't much better. I got white bread and it was the best part. The steak was grayish, no sear on the meat, and found 3 pieces of grissel in the meat which I couldn't even chew. There was no seasoning on the meat at all so even with putting salt on the sandwich, it was really bland. Skimpy on the lettuce, tomato, like 4 pieces of diced onion, and 2 mushrooms. I will not return here as there are much better options for food in the area.
