They have the best boba, ice cream rolls, and fresh made taiyaki! Our kids favorite place to go for sweet treats. Watching them make the items is a great “show to watch”. We also love the efficiently & friendly service!

Friendly staff and family business. The coffee ice cream is freshly pulled espresso shot mixed with cream. And the drinks you can replace cow milk with oat milk too.
We haven’t tried the soft serve but I’m sure they are good too. Many flavors to choose from.

One of the best places to treat yourself (or someone else) in the area! Take your date, your family, or just stop in for a breakfast treat and a coffee. The owners and employees are super sweet and the overall quality of is amazing. What an asset to have in the neighborhood!

Consistently delicious and some of the most patient, kind, and hard working staff I've ever seen in any part of the food industry, Salt N Cocoa is quickly becoming, if not my favorite dessert place in Durham, my favorite food place in Durham. The rolled ice cream is always top tier, the Taiyaki is fresh and piping hot, and the atmosphere is so welcoming that it's like a tractor beam as you get closer (the smell of the Taiyaki helps a lot). I feel like I'm underselling just how amazing this place is to be honest.
