This location is closed. Website says new one to be announced soon. Confusing since pizza place next door has the same address.

We went for a weekday lunch and loved Societa. Giuseppe's hospitality was very welcome - the atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic. They have a safe, well-spaced shaded patio that was comfortable, and they immediately brought a high chair for our baby. The sandwiches were big and delicious, and the salad was fantastic. We'll be back, especially with that nice and large outdoor section!

Love Giuseppe & Kelly. They always treat me like family. We had multiple apps tonight, cocktails & two delicious entrees. We left with two to-go boxes because so much good food. Well be back soon. Btw, that patio is the perfect place to sit this time of year.

Can I give 6 stars?!? Great food. Super friendly owner/manager. Fun drinks and drafts. Big outside patio. Excellent service. Favorites from central NY (spiedies) and yummy Italian.

I love the food! The service is great too. But the food is original and authentic. Even fries and chips are hand made and seasoned to make them more unique than other places. I had their meatball sub and the meatballs were obviously hand made, and the sauce wasn't from a can or pre-fabricated. The bread was also from a local bakery. And the parmigiana reggiano they used was authentic! On my second visit, I had their Italian sub. The cappacolla was real Italian cappacolla, as were the other meats used. The oil and vinegar were perfectly mixed and I added Swiss cheese, which was buttery and delicious. My wife had the Capresi sandwich and I tasted it. Amazing. Go for the food. But the outdoor seating is fantastic too!

Wow, wow, wow! Still waiting for someone to slap me and say this was a dream... Societa reminded us like nothing else has of our time in Rome, South Beach, and Barcelona. Incredible pasta, wines, liquors, desserts, really just EVERYTHING. And the family owners are just unbelievable, diverse, knowledgeable, and passionate about your experience. Come to Societa, you will not regret.

Had lunch outside on the beautiful patio. While I didn’t sample any beers the selection included a lot of beers local to NC. I tried several appetizers including Steak on a Stick, Bomba Arancina and Bruschetta in addition to Spiedie sandwich with awesome homemade fries. All were very tasty. My kids enjoyed being outside and out of the car before we continued our travels.

The food at this place is truly exceptional. Try the Marsala poutine. You won't be disappointed. The food in general is very inventive in that there are creative takes on traditional Italian dishes. The only thing that is a bit confusing is that this place is struggling to find an identity. Is it a bar? A club? A restaurant? I would recommend having more definition between bar and restaurant seating. It would make it a more comfortable dining experience. And/or a bar experience. The owners are super friendly and we enjoyed talking to them. We will be back to try other dishes. Good drinks too.

I'm so glad this place is open again! My friend and I went by on a whim and they'd reopened an hour before we showed up. This place is amazing. Go check it out!

Absolute Garbage! The owner, not the food. Don’t get me wrong, Olive Garden is way better, but that’s not the issue. Beer selection is nice, food is slightly below mediocre. Owner is a nutcase! Treats his staff like garbage, as well as his customers. If you get raw chicken, just leave, this whack job will tell you that it’s supposed to be served that way ? Dude thinks he’s Gordon Ramsey, but cooks like the Swedish Chef from the Muppets

Really nice ambience! The seasoned chips are to die for!!!! I had to get it to go and share it with my friends. Their herb chicken is also seasoned very nicely.

We were here with a group from work. We split a bunch of apps (the beef on a stick was very good). I had the crispy chicken which was excellent. Overall everyone was pleased. There are some classics, all with a different twist from traditional Italian fare.

Underwhelming! Their hours cooked sauce is very thin. The entree I had had heavy handed sugar added to the sauce. Should be a hint of sweetness not " sweet". Bread should be offered to patrons not guests having to request and made to feel like it was a special request. My entree stated a salad came with it but there was a charge on the bill for a simple side salad. This may seem overly critical to the restaurant but I'm Sicilian and wasn't impressed.

I'm an out of towner but enjoyed this place so much I came here twice this week. Excellent food and good service. First time I ordered Pressed Lasagna (not sure what makes it pressed) and second time I ordered Parmagiana Style Herb Crusted Chicken over Spaghetti. Both were delicious. The chicken had a nice crispiness. Both meals had a tasty marinara sauce. Generous portions. Surprising win was the side salad ($1.95 extra) which comes draped in marinated peppers and onions. Highly recommend getting the salad.

Last night I had dinner at Societa. It was delicious. I just made a trip to Sicily last May and visited my grandparents home villages for the first time. It was a spectacular experience that I cherish and hope to return some day, Last night with the decor and atmosphere it brought me back to the island and filled my heart with joy , made me smile . The owners indulged me with a kind and gracious visit. They are a wonderful pleasant couple with darling children. Traveling on business it is always a treat to find such a gem Of a place to dine. The food was very good , fresh , tasty , simple peasant fare . I will be back . I recommend you put Societa on your list of musts.
