We were regular at this restaurant before covid. We went yesterday after a long gap. Loved the food as usual. We are fan of their sushi and sashimi.
For lunch, their bento box options are good too.

I love the sushi and have since they opened back in the late 90’s. Just one request. Please quit using cucumber to separate the salmon nigiri. It leaves a faint aftertaste on the delicate fish

Me and my family went, ordered some sushi, krab rangoons. The waiter was so polite and the food was delishous. Although I requested a shiki crunch and a waiter came with a hurricane roll. I wasnt mad because I had realized they were short staffed and it was an accident. Again the food was awesome.

Ordered the crispy sesame chicken. Should have been called marinated teriyaki chicken. Asked the waitress if I had the right dish because it wasn’t crispy AT ALL. She tried to make me feel stupid by saying it wasn’t supposed to be super crunchy. Well should it be …crispy? Change the name if it’s not supposed to be crispy.
But what really aggravated me was the most boring broccoli known to man. It was steamed. No seasoning. No sauce, oil, butter, nothing. And it was COLD. I didn’t come to an expensive restaurant to eat cold steamed broccoli. I had to ask for salt. I make amazing broccoli dishes- this was pathetic. What is the chef doing back there?? Anyone with a pot of water can steam broccoli!
The fried rice? Sorry but that was NOT fried.
The Pinot noir smelled like vinegar.
We are never returning.

If you’re planning to come out and eat tonight don’t! We got here at 7:45 pm. Ordered our food. A rude assistant manager came up to us and told us last call was 8 pm. No sign on the door or anything. His excuse was there was a lot of Latinos in the kitchen and this is like their Thanksgiving. The only sign on the door is about New Year’s Day being open at 4-9 pm. We had already placed our food order and got our appetizer. The issue was our kids meal came with ice cream. We had to order the ice cream before our meal even came out and either A. Let them eat ice cream before dinner or B. Let it sit and melt and make our kids look at it while they ate dinner. We drove 30 minutes to come here and eat from Mebane. They didnt notify us of this when we arrived or were sat. Absolute BS. I’m not paying $80-$100 for a meal that I’m going to be rushed out the door on. We would have went somewhere else if they properly let us know. The manager also told me that he’s let everyone know and we’re the only one who has a problem with it. Welp. We were the last ones there and I told him if I stayed and picked either A or B then I would be a bad parent. He said depends on who you ask like a jerk.

Pretty good assortment of sushi selections. Eating area is clean. The staff and servers are attentive and courteous. Although it's not my #1 sushi spot, it will be a regular part of my sushi spots rotation!

Me and my gworl were the first guests- they didnt make us feel bad about it. We were very excited to catch up, and they gave us time to chat then analyze their fabulous selections of sushi rolls. It does take a while because they have an amazing selection, and they do buy one get one half off rolls. When our plates came out, I apparently got the wrong plate, but I didn't notice because it tasted so good. They brought my plate and gave us the other on the house, which was super considerate. We devoured everything. Will be going back. Soon.

The hostess seemed like she was having a bad day but after we were seated we were taken care of pretty good. It actually took a awhile to get our food, almost 30 minutes and the place wasn't that busy. I'd go again if I was in the area.

The atmosphere was better than the service and the food . Our server was rude and seemed as if we was bothering her ! She was very irritated and their food gave me and my fiancé food poisoning. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ! I will NEVER come back and the food is HIGH and NASTY
