Food was inedible and over-priced. No spicy tuna or salmon on the menu so I went w the general tso’s. 5 pieces of dry chicken with fried rice that tasted like it was dipped in pine-sol. You’d think for what they charge they’d have $$ to fix the algae-ridden fountain in the front… but nope. Whoever bought this place will be selling it for parts and a tax write-off in the near future.

The service is consistently horrible. it starts off with the rudest hostesses, who apparently don't care if a server is slammed or not and will just seat you in by walking really fast to the table, dropping off the menus and walking away without making eye contact, saying anything or checking if there's dirt or debris on the table.
That's then (un)quickly followed up by sitting for countless minutes waiting for a server who has too many tables in their section to give you any attention.
Once the food order is in they do have runners / expeditors that deliver hot food to the table.
But the service sucks.

My favorite local sushi spot! Always great food and service! Hailey is such a great server and she made our experience 10x better! She was the cherry on top of our delicious meal, highly recommend if you are looking for good sushi and good service in the Durham area!

Server was decent, but food was actually pretty inedible, particularly the fried rice. I’ve only gotten sushi before, which was passable, but everything in the lunch bento box was unpalatable. The fried rice actually had a chemical flavor that reminded me of cleaner. Would not recommend.

I always get hype for this place but end up feeling let down once I receive my food. I want quality over quantity when it comes to raw fish and raw shellfish. My last sushi order from here the shrimp was unpalatable and I’m usually a garbage disposal and will finish my food even if it doesn’t taste great. This was the first time in my life I refused to eat a piece of sushi because it was sketch. The last sushi I had before this was from wegmans and it was so much better. If you want a huge piece of sushi maybe this place will do it for you. But honestly, for the price even with the BOGO 1/2 off I think it’s overpriced.
