Not bad, the food was tasty. I couldn't go every day due to pricing but all is well. Enjoyed just being there.

My search is over. I finally found a great breakfast place in Durham. I've been looking for a place like my favorite New Jersey diners. This Little place is definitely not a diner, but the food and the menu are very reminiscent. Co-Owner, Sue runs the place with a mixture of friendliness and efficiency. Her husband runs the kitchen and I've noticed that everything comes out hot and fresh.
I've only had the breakfast items here but I hear the lunch sandwiches and plare lunches are equally good.
Service is quick and friendly. The place is cozy and as I said the food is superb.

Great little diner in the Durham area. Very comfortable atmosphere with kind and attentive staff. The breakfast here was delicious. My wife and I loved the pancakes platter. Would definitely return next time we’re in Durham.

Good food, friendly service and quick serving time. You want a good tasting breakfast, more than likely you're going to enjoy eating here.

Room for improvement would be the bathrooms. They could be cleaner.

After visiting the Stagville historic site, we wondered, "Where can we have lunch?" A place called the Silver Spoon popped up. Oh my, did we just step back into the '50s? It's heaven. The menu is like 6 pages, but the lunch menu on the wall was all I needed: meatloaf, fried chicken livers, barbecue pork, country fried steak, etc. We had a party of four, and everything was perfect -- including our waitress, "Sue." Now all we need is an excuse to go back to Durham.
