They offer an excellent vegan buffet every other Thursday. Great food!

They have an amazing vegan buffet every other Thursday. Butter tofu is among the highlights. They change it up as well. The triangle vegetarian community has a reserved area so you can go without necessarily having anybody to go with and still have somebody to talk to.

I am so disappointed with this place that I have no wish to rate it.

We were sat down on a table with dirty tablecloth. The usher literally took cutlery from a clean table and sat us down on a dirty one. Place was 2/3rd empty. Also, the spoons were dirty and foggy, the bowls were dripping water. Yikes. No disposable napkins were available.

Staff had to be told to pick up used plates from the table(no they were empty, with no food left on them)

Staff made sure I entered a high tip by looking right into what I was typing on the tips. Please teach your staff some manners. This is not cool.

Food - this was the worst.
Stale, dry desserts. I make better gulab jamun at home.
Stale curries, probably made a few days prior. Low tier food is such a huge disappointment at a buffet.

One of few places worth the price for a buffet. $22 for weekend lunch with pretty good selection of items from appetizers to desserts. Meatballs, beef, tandoori, kabab, poori, naan, dosa, idli, vada, biryani, mango shake and strawberry mojito, around 10 desserts with likes of gulab jamun, rasagulla, flan, payasam, rice pudding, barfis, cakes. Place was big with seperate bar section and space for celebrations. Service was good as they keep on asking if we need anything and explaining few things to people who are here first time. Unlike other places which was rushed up, crowdy and no one to ask you of anything, this was well maintained. 5* for service, menu spread out and place. Taste w.r.t spice and salt could have been better. Tandoori was a bit on dry side, Naan was bit harder, too much oil on vada but overall definitely worth a visit.

I visited Sitar to eat their vegan buffet and it didn’t disappoint. I love it. The bartender even made a special drink for my partner that she loved and that he said he would name after her. lol I highly recommend the buffet and the food. The service was great as well. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

The vegan buffet they do every other Thursday and it was awesome. They have a full spread of entrees, vegan naan, and like 8 vegan desserts too. They really go all out. And I went earlier to a normal lunch buffet and they had enough vegan options to satisfy then as well. And their service is amazing, everyone is so kind.

It is one of the best restaurant in RTP area. The food was amazing, and there were a lot of options for Veg. Over all we had a great time.

Our favorite restaurant hands down. We have been going for years. My wife is a vegetarian and I am not. Perfect selection for all. Each bite is sensory overload! Service is awesome. There is a reason they have remained in a business for many years. Simply the best stop for Indian in Durham. Heading over today for this years last best meal. Salivating thinking about it! Enjoy.
