Me and my family decided to visit smashburger and when we walked in the atmosphere was definitely not welcoming at all and the employees at the front were very rude with 0 hospitality and was on their phones a lot. When we asked to speak to a manager, he didn’t make the experience any better. The floors were sticky and messy as well! I wouldn’t recommend this burger joint to anyone I know or anyone who wants to go there. I wish me and my family had a better experience.

The hours are until 9pm but would not take my order at 8:30 because they had already “started cleaning up.” Why be open till 9:00 if you don’t serve food that late?

Well can't tell you about the food !!! Because I didn't get that far after stand at the register and observing the person there for about 5 min (I'm the only customer in the building) no Hi. Can I help you nothing. So I'm thinking maybe they do see me then the person from the back peek around and look right at me still nothing 🤔ok. The straw was when the person in the front runs her fingers through her hair with the gloves on while grabbing the food 😔 with that I hit the exit 😞

Burgers are great. Have ordered a few times. Customer service today was abysmal. I walked in to pick up my online — no greeting. Employee was standing off to the side playing on their phone with their back completely turned to customers. I approached and stood nearby her to give her the opportunity to acknowledge me. She did not. Eventually, I asked her where we should pickup online orders. She did not smile but asked for my name. Handed me my order and then, presumably, turned back to her phone as I left. There’s zero customer service atmosphere here. The refrigerated display at the cashier area is completely empty and the cashier area unstaffed. It would’ve been okay had the staff member at the pickup area at least been tasked with keeping a lookout for customers and greeting them.

Placed a delivery order at 8:22 in the evening. When it arrived, it was short our drinks two strawberry shakes. On the children’s hamburgers, you weren’t given the option to add ketchup to them after the food arrived made an attempt to contact them to let them know about the drinks. Never answered the phone and did not have voicemail. Tried calling at least four times and today the next day called again two times and still no one answered the phone. So I was overcharged almost 7 dollars because I’m not getting my drink.

The kind young man at the register (with cornrows) gave stellar service, and was very professional. It was my first time at the franchise, and he answered all my questions about the menu perfectly. I’ll pass this place onto some of my colleagues. Great place to eat.
Great smash burger that looked almost as good as the photo! The service was great and fast with all hot food. Restaurant was clean and not very busy when we arrived at 430pm on a Thurs.
They food is always great I order online and either have it delivered or come pick it up but the service is bullshit the young girl at the counter is rude and talks about the people in the restroom And she rings them up and on top of that she has never actually rung the food up correctly it’s irritating when this happens to be your go to for lunch during work... even after they gave me the food i asked for they still did not make it right it was missing half of what it was supposed to come with.

This place used to be awesome. Not so much anymore. The swapped the chicken fillet for ground chicken, which is cheaper, and it is terrible. And a lunch for 2 that used to be $25 is now $35. And the place could use a good cleaning. The walls are filthy. What a shame, I used to look forward to going there but no more visits for me.

My travels often take me to the Durham area. Smashburger is less than 10 minutes from my hotel. On a seven day trip I will dine there over 50% of the time. The burgers are always hot and juicy. My family has been introduced to Smashburger and also loves it. The ladies are always curious even under pressured circumstances. Keep up the amazing job. Hardee, A.
