Ordered the chopped Steak and Rice and the smothered Pork Chops. Rice in both trays was very undercooked. Cabbage and collard greens were not seasoned like the first time we tried them. Couldn’t finish the plates. Hope the next time there will be some consistency. $20 a plate should warrant this.

I got the shrimp and the chicken wings. As soon as the food hit my tongue, I knew it was going to be delish. The shrimp was impeccable, delectable, divine. That seasoning 😮💨. The chicken wings were nice and crisp. Food was freshly made, and it showed. The workers were friendly as well.

So glad I went to Soul Forking Good after my Google search for soul food in Durham on Friday. My food was soooo good. I had fried wings, Mac n cheese, and green beans. Been a long time since I had some fried chicken. Back again today and the food is so good!! The strawberry peach lemonade is goodt!! Lol!

Listen this is soul food. Everything we ordered was excellent. Turkey wings were huge and flavorful. All the sides were good. Would eat here everytime I visit durham.
Every single dish I have had so far was AMAZING. The food is really good. You have to get there early. The popular dishes go fast. The only side I didn't like was the yams. Could just be a possible one off.
Ima tell you truth, when I try place first time I be skeptical but bay bey, hey bae bae, hey bae bae, when I say this is next to grandma and mama cooking and taste, I 150% am telling you the truth and I didn’t tip and I am sorry I didn’t but when I go back soon, I will make sure and give the tip I didn’t and the tip at time I go and I promote that. This is some good damn(excuse my language) food here for sure?

JUST what I needed! In Raleigh for the weekend and I was given a list of restaurants to check out. I made a great choice because the food here was amazing! Fresh, hot and everything was delicious! I got a 3 piece fish with green beans and candied yams? My service was fast and my order came out in less than 10mins. The only problem I had was the location. They need a lot with more space and better parking.

Two stars because the chicken is always good and consistent. Everything else is subpar. I used to come here all of the time but the food is inconsistent at best and the quality has steadily declined. The last two times I’ve come the Mac n Cheese was sour and gross. Every time I’ve ordered cornbread they never have it and I’m never refunded for it. They will replace the corn bread with a single slice of white bread SMH. I only learn they are out of it or don’t have it when I drive back home 35 mins later and open the bag to discover no cornbread. I won’t be back. I can get good fried chicken anywhere.
