First of all give god glory for helping you start your business !! But me and my family visit from outer town we thought that we was gonna get some good food. But we end up pay high prices for some bad food.. I'm not mad because I end up giving my dog the food so he was pretty happy, But I had to wait 30 minutes for my food And she was yelling at the 2 boys ..And No cars in the parking lot.I just need for you to improve your business. Because if not god gonna shut you down the same way he got you start..Amen

Owner was very nice and greeted me and my family,we felt a great vibe but we waited 35 minutes or longer for food,we had no idea the food would be over seasoned and spicy,no where near soulfood and expensive for no reason at all,I do not recommend at all $61 for two awful plates that she didn’t want to accommodate or exchange for anything else this is awful business and the chef cannot cook,I am currently having a stomach ache, cabbage was spoiled and bad and vinegar seasoned and garlic seeds floating in collards

Me and my sister went on rainy Saturday to get something to eat. She ordered ox tails rice and gravy and cabbage I ordered Salisbury Steak rice and gravy and string beans w/potatoes we waited 45 minutes for our food you would’ve thought it was already cooked but it wasn’t. When the food came out it didn’t look good the Salisbury steak looked like over stuffed meatballs the string beans and potatoes were over cooked the rice was overcooked the seasoning on the food was terrible the cornbread wasn’t good the only good thing that was decent a Mountain Dew soda. Won’t eat there any more sorry I couldn’t tell her when she noticed I hadn’t eaten

The food was VERY SPICY! I waited twenty minutes for food for a to go order. The sides were so spicy that I couldn't eat it. Macaroni and cheese had spice. Corn bread dressing was horrible! The cabbage and greens were SPICY. I bought this for a senior citizen and it was a let down.

My family drove from Burlington & totally enjoyed our Easter Sunday dinner! Mind you this place isn't fancy; but the food, the hospitality, the very attentive customer service are all top notch! This was my 2nd visit & I will definitely be back!

They gave me spoiled green beans and old Mac and Cheese, I also found hair in my food. It’s a shame I was looking forward to tasting the food. My first experience was awful.

Portions were out of this world. Pork chops and gravy were very good. The folks in my party thought the vegetables all had some kick (too spicy). Service and cook were gracious, kind and attentive.
