This is actually a great little cafe. It's more than you would expect for a muesem. The food was good, reasonably priced and offered a huge variety for anyone (including gluten free needs). The seating was a bit tight, I wished there more indoor spots because it was raining and cold so we weren't interested in sitting outside but overall a great experience while visiting the muesem.

Sprout Cafe is a life saver! Delicious food in the heart of the museum. We had 4 adults and 2 kids with us, and we were in and out in no time! Friendly service, food was great, kids were happy. What more could you ask for!? Definitely stop in when you're roaming around. They also have carts throughout the paths, which is super convenient! 10/10 😄🙌

A very nice cafe inside the Durham museum of life and science. The food was priced very reasonably and pretty tasty for fast food style cuisine.

Too far from the Museum proper. Food was bland and overpriced.

For pricy museum food, it's pretty good. Serving portions are small, but it is a kids' museum. Depending on the day, there might be seating available, but there's most likely always a line out the door. If you pay for a cup you can have as much fountain drinks as you want but the cup is super small.

Parking: Parking for the museum is usually crowded but it depends a lot on the day.

Kid-friendliness: It's a kid museum. It's a friendly as it gets.
