This Hilton is in a great location, close to the University and the downtown area. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and so helpful. Their breakfast is buffet style and I was surprised they had good vegetarian options, as well as the freshness. Heather, the hostess was certainly attentive making sure all the guests we taken cared of. I would recommend.

Everyone is so nice at the front desk. Heather our waitress at the breakfast buffet was very helpful. The buffet had lots of options like biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon, eggs with or without veggies in it. I love their pastry section. The rooms were very nice. Have refrigerator but no microwave. The restaurant has a nice selection and a bar.

This Hilton is getting “tired”. Stayed two night while visiting Duke and UNC with daughter. I travel all over for business and this was one of the less desirable properties YTD. Waited 30 minutes at check in due to a long line and one person working. Only one elevator worked the first day, while the second make tremendous noise. the room was dirty and dated. Requested towels the second day and was told to come get them. Overall service was pathetic. Would not recommend! There was a newer Hampton Inn a couple blocks down that looked much nicer.

I often come here when I need to get some work done before meeting someone. No one’s ever gotten upset with me for using the space, and I really appreciate it! The workers seem courteous and leave me alone, as I would like to be left alone.

I stayed at this property in December 2021 and December 2022. The hotel is clean, and the staff is professional. Some of the senior staff are excellent, friendly and caring. The wifi is fine. and I had no problems using the internet, but I'm not sure if the wifi is strong enough to Zoom. The parking lot is large, so it's easy to park at any time - day or night. Great location very close to Duke University. The hotel is decades old, so manage your expectations. But I would happy to stay here again. When I stayed here in December 2022, the heater was blowing cold air. The front desk sent an engineer to reset the heater, but the reset process takes one hour to cycle through, so I was in my room working on my laptop with cold air blowing on me in the winter. When I stayed here in December 2021, the shower head was loose, and it would not stay tilted up. But these are pretty minor problems, and for the price I paid, I can certainly live with minor inconveniences. You can't expect perfection at an older hotel.

Staff was very friendly and attentive, especially Donna at the Bluestone Bar downstairs who helped us with coffee and other things we needed in a pinch. I go to the location on Hillsborough Rd Durham and a lady name Veronica is very unpleasant, she never smiles and looks like she hates her job, slow with her services as well. I had a time when I came in ordered while she was making drinks every other employee spoke except her. Another customer came behind me and share spoke to them like I never existed. It would be nice to either retrain her on customer service and have a talk because one sour apple spoils the bunch! If she lightens up this store will be great!

Donna at the bluestone grill was amazing. So sweet and kind. She absolutely made my wedding morning and made the most delicious cup of coffee. My wedding party was so impressed with her kindness, that some have decided to come back next time.
