Classy southern cuisine 😋
This food was well worth the wait! We have named them the best food truck to come to Roxboro. Grab the seasoned platter, banana pudding, and succotash..no disappointment! Sorry, we ate it all so fast and only have empty plate pictures to share, lol

Succotash Durham - Southern & Creole Kitchen is a restaurant known for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. It features rustic, homey, and festive decor, with bar seating available. Favorites on the menu include the smoked brisket plate, jambalaya, gumbo, and brisket empanadas. The brisket and seafood are highlighted as delicious, with some reviews noting that the brisket can be inconsistent, with some pieces being tender while others are hard. The hot honey cauliflower appetizer has received praise even from those who typically do not like cauliflower. The cabbage slaw is described as vinegary, providing a nice contrast to the heaviness of the other dishes. The banana foster remains a popular choice for dessert. The brunch options, like the brisket and grits, have received high praise, with many claiming they are the best they've ever had, rivaling those from New Orleans. The gumbo, while noted as a bit salty, is served with light, airy, and crusty bread. With friendly customer service, a relaxed local vibe, and a patio, this family-owned restaurant is highly recommended for quality food, great experiences, and good vibes.
