I’ve been watching Taj get ready to open for the past while and have been so excited to have it in the neighborhood! I just had my first chance to visit this evening and man, I’m so impressed. They have a great selection, everything is extremely reasonably priced, and the owner (Shireen? Please correct me!) was helpful and wonderful. Can’t wait to try more of what this place has to offer, so happy to have you here.

I found the Indian treats I was looking for! I’m thrilled to have an international grocery store in north durham. I saw Lebanese foods, Egyptian foods, Punjabi foods, and more. I heard another customer exclaim “wow they have citric acid here!”. I will be returning. The staff member said they’re bringing fresh pita bread in the morning. I’ll have to check it out. 100% recommend this grocery store

Shari was so helpful! She helped me pick out some spices and rice for dinner and answered all of my questions. The store has a lot of selection, with more to come. It’s bright, clean and well organized. I look forward to coming back to try more ingredients!

A wonderful market that is newly opened. Soon they’ll have breads and more meats- but the selection now is still great! Cheap spices, nice cheeses, and even pistachio creme!

Honestly this place is so nice and has a lot of great halal foods and grocery also the staff is so nice and very kind also welcoming it's a really great place

A great addition to shopping opportunities in North Durham! There are so many options here that you are not going to find anywhere else on this side of town. Spices, desserts, Halal options and many other delicious things. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The place is clean as a whistle. Handicap accessible. Nine am to nine pm, every day.
