The Pad Thai was too sweet for me. But the red curry, crab fried rice, and 3 flavor fish was delicious
Classic Thai food. Good drinks
Mango sticky rice was fine, but portion is criminally small. Half a mango and a finger of sticky rice for $8 💀

Excellent Thai food made from scratch!
Wonderful dinner, very fresh. Standout: their Thai dessert...Mango Sticky Rice!!! Plus they have very nice patio outside for dining.

I like the Thai Cafe. Food is consistently good. Service has always been friendly. A soup or salad is usually included.
Prices are reasonable and consistent with other restaurants in the area.

Potentially THE best Thai food I’ve had in the area. The restaurant definitely looks a little bit older but the food comes out quick and it is DELICIOUS. I need a literal gallon of the tom kha soup immediately.

Used to be a great place. Food has gone downhill. Ordered three different dishes yet they all were cooked in the same sauce. One of us asked for the spice level to be adjusted and we all got the bland version. Waiter did not know the menu very well. The restroom area reeked of cleaning solutions because they clean the bathroom BEFORE they close, while diners are still there. This was our second disappointing visit in a year.

Só rude and disrespectful. I’ve come here for years and the service gets worse and worse. The managers were in the back stuffing their faces while they had this poor girl running the whole restaurant. I asked one of them to help me and she REFUSED. 🥲

This is my husand and I’s favorite place in Durham by far. We would get take out from them every Sunday when we lived in Durham for 3 years. The green curry and ginger stir fry were our go to’s and the coconut cake is out of this world. My best friend lives in Boston (huge food scene) and said she can’t find a green curry that measures up to Thai Cafes. The staff is wonderful and felt like family. When we come back to visit NC, it will without a doubt be our first stop.

Thai Cafe has been in my rotation since it first opened in Durham. However, over the last 3 years, I can’t honestly sing its praises as I once did. Durham’s transformation from a limited number of good restaurants to many exceptional places to dine, is no secret. I’m cheering for Thai Cafe to reclaim its place as one of the best restaurants in the area!

Excellent customer service skills. This is one of the biggest reasons why I returned to this Thai restaurant. I thank them for their hospitality and delicious food.
