We’re here as my husband had surgery at Duke. For 3 days we tried different restaurants and this is the best one.

I was craving some Thai food and a friend recommended this place. We got takeout for dinner and I'm so glad we did. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. We started with the crab angels and the Thai sausage. The crab angels are basically crab rangoons but you can actually see and taste the crab inside, and it comes with a sweet but vinegary sauce that pairs perfectly. The Thai sausage was spicier than I expected but so fresh, the contrast between the fatty sausage and the crisp vegetables in the spicy, sweet, sour sauce. For entrees we had the pad Thai with chicken and drunken noodles with pork. Both were good, and still piping hot by the time we got them home. The pad Thai was a bit sweeter than I expected, but the flavor was still good overall. We also tried the coconut cake which was super light, fluffy, and full of coconut flavor. We will definitely be back!

Visited the Thai Café IN DURHAM on 2/23/2021 and the service was horrible. I ordered my food online and was greeted by this want to be server who only knows how to treat her kind with courteous service.

Love this place! The lamb chops are great and the bbq chicken! And don't forget the coconut cake!! So glad they don't take your temperature anymore!!

This place was really good! My boyfriend and I are new to the area and are looking for a good Thai food option in the area. They did not disappoint! The food was prepared very well, and each of the dishes had superb flavor. We will definitely be coming here again!

Cannot say enough good things. My roommate and I religiously order from here every week and are never left disappointed. Our go to is the Panang Curry which I would give more than 5 stars to if given the option. I have tried other Thai restaurants in the area and nothing compares. Thank you for existing.

THEY CHANGED THE COCONUT CAKE RECIPE!!! Why change something that wasn't broken?! It was the best cake in North Carolina and now it's just ok. I'd fly into NC from CA looking forward to this cake. And now it's gone. The pastry chef told me the recipe just changed and that now it's better and more moist. So to my excitement I thought how could it have possibly gotten better?! It was so good. I was extremely disappointed. Devastatingly. The cake is DRIER and a little firmer and spongier. Like a mediocre wedding cake. Not as moist and melt in your mouth as the previous recipe. Same coconut cream which is good but not enough for me to come back. The reason why this cake worked was because the crumb and texture of the previous cake fit better with the whipped coconut than this dryer spongier cake. I am literally eating the new cake with the old cake as we speak and comparing. (My sister and mom froze the older version I ordered a month ago when I was in Los Angeles for my sisters bday knowing I'd be back for the holidays). And the month old cake is still better than the fresher new recipe. Freezer burn frosting and all. The old version of the cake is just better. Have I made my point?!? Sorry. This is emotional. As we are literally picking at what is left of the "former recipe" month old coconut cake knowing it'll be the last time we'll ever have it. Thai cafe. PLEASE change the recipe back. Haven't we all lost enough this year? I still gave you 5 stars because I wanna support small businesses like you but also to let you know your pastry chef made a mistake in changing the recipe.

Really high quality Thai food, very happy to have this down the street! A little on the pricey side but very tasty!

I ordered take out from Thai Cafe last evening and was awfully disappointed to see at least one member of the kitchen staff not wearing a face covering. I won't return until they can assure customers that this has been rectified.

I couldn't get through to the Wake Forest location so I called the Durham one. I've been there a few times, and always had a great experience. Tommy went WAY above and beyond to help us get an order in at the Wake Forest location. My bf wants super super super Thai spicy food, and Tommy made sure to let their chefs know to blaze him up. He is hilarious! I give this place 5 stars for the sheer fact that Tommy is the man. :)

I could eat their basil shrimp stir fry and noodles with chicken and veggies all day long (and did ). Our daughter ordered it curbside in Durham and, wearing masks and gloves, they put the order in the trunk of our car. It was SO good she ordered it again the next day via Grub Hub. Even better 2nd time around. Perfect spices and heat.

New to the area and decided to kick off my Pandemic Birthday Weekend with some Thai food! I had seen Thai Cafe while driving and thanks to Yelp had the pandemic details in moments. Checked out their menu and ordered online. SUPER easy and the features to add, delete, and even name the owner of the dish! Iwent 1 new, 1 standby. And you know what's next, right? Loved!!! The new dish! Nam Tok Beef was FANTASTIC. Smoky, spicy, a little tart... tender beef, crispy cabbage... just amazing! Pick up was quick and easy. Tip well, these guys were hustling!
