I'm not a vegan, but their breakfast vegan option is incredible:

BUDDHA-RITO (V)
Local spinach wrap stuffed with a housemade tofu scramble (black beans and vegan chorizo), house-cut hashbrowns, vegan mozzarella, spinach, peppers and onions, and housemade firecracker sauce

Lots of affordable vegan options! This location is nice and multilevel, it gives similar vibes to the other locations in Charlotte! Definitely try the vegan breakfast burrito - the Buddharito!

Good food good beer. Cool lite menu that changes for time of day starting with Breakfast, the Breakfast bowls are great and finishing with late-night cheesestake pictured. Great local beer on tap and some to-go can options.

Staff is always friendly and smiling.

Tons after dinner entertainment, with open mic nights and robot fighting even board game and magic card and Vinyl nights.

I dont drink coffee but really cool coffee bar.

They also do punch cards for meals I think eat 10 get one free!

Today was the first time my wife and I tried The common market. We were very excited after seeing great reviews and hearing good things.

Today unfortunately the experience fell short. Very short.

To start, my wife and I ordered a BYO sandwich and the big kids grilled cheese and a side of fries.

The food was good, but after taking a bite of my sandwich (the BYO) I realized 1 I didn’t have a side of firecracker sauce that I had ordered. I then realized it was already on the sandwich.

The sauce was good, but I didn’t want it all over the sandwich. I specifically asked for it on the side since it was my first time trying it. Also because they didn’t read the ticket correctly, my sandwhich was soggy because of how much sauce they put on.

It also took a very long time to get my order, even after placing it online I still waited for a while before receiving my food.

2 The other thing I noticed was the person running expo/ calling out ready orders. They seemed very overwhelmed and at one point pushed a whole box of fries onto the floor because they were moving to fast.

As a ex food service worker I totally understand things get backed up and things get crazy and hectic. But you have to be careful, and prepare food the right way and be mindful of your surroundings.

3 I was having trouble placing an online order at first and decided to call in hopes of placing an order for pickup. Whoever picked up the phone quickly answered and said “hold” and I was immediately put on hold. I waited about 5-10 minutes and hung up. No one ever answered me or tried calling back.

It seemed like a very stressful environment at the time. Regardless we left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed with the outcome. Again the food was good but nothing special and I think that there are some improvements to be made.

Awesome spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff is super friendly and the food is excellent. There’s tons of spots both indoors and outdoors to hang out, work, and enjoy your meal. They also have a very wide array of drinks, snacks, and other fun goodies. One of the best casual spots in Durham for sure

I absolutely love this place! Great food, with awesome vegetarian options (beyond breakfast sausage, for one)! Great taps and awesome to go selections, too. We even found a cute gift for my partner's mom! But, the best thing about it? The vibe and staff are incredible, and it just feels like Durham! Can't recommend enough!

My favorite place to hang in Charlotte was the old Common Market in the South End. The Durham location has a similar vibe—of course, more Durham-y—and I’m so happy to know it exists. Staff seems awesome, especially Ian.
